Author's note: OMG I finally posted a new story! Okay, I know I haven't added ANY new chapters to my other story but for a while I thought I was going to cancel it. However, I've decided to continue it. I might focus on this story more though. We'll just have wait and the way, I'm taking requests for ALL my stories, so send me your ideas! Okay, enough rambling. ENJOY THE STORY.
Dear mom,
I've done a lot of crazy things, but switching bodies with the girl of my dreams is a whole new kind of weird!
Megee woke up delighted that morning. He, Squirt and Gretchen defeated the evil "Bloody Marty" last night and, boy, was he tired! As he climbed out of bed, he felt something pointy hit his side. He had discovered a small plastic toy crown. It was small, old, and SO not his. Uninterested, he simply ignored it, grabbed his clothes and went to go change in the bathroom.
As he passed the mirror he froze. Instead of the cheerful, spike-haired boy, he saw his sarcastic, witty friend, Gretchen in the mirror. His worst fears had been realized. He was a girl! Oh my god, he thought. How do this happen. He slowly walked over to his original bed. He saw an exact replica of himself under the covers. He had decided that if Gretchen was in his body, then this was all real…or he was just crazy. "Gretchen, Gretchen, wake up." Annoyed, he screamed "WAKE UP!" The body woke up with a start and exclaimed, "Alright, alright I'm…what the heck!" Before Megee could say anything, Gretchen leapt out of bed and ran toward the mirror. As soon as she saw her reflection, she screamed. While Gretchen was freaking out, a million questions swarmed Megee's mind. Who did this? Am I dreaming? Are the others ok? Am I crazy? Megee knew that they HAD to change back, but how?
Gretchen was petrified as she stared at the mirror. She was stuck in Megee's body! What was she going to do? There was no way she could ask for help. They would all think she was crazy! Furious, Gretchen exclaimed "Megee, what on earth have you done!?"
"I don't know, I guess I-we just woke up this way"
"Well, what are we going to do?"
"Hmm, I guess we could-THE BOOK!"
"The what?"
"The book!"
Megee raced toured the closet and pulled out an antique, dusty, enormous book. What is this thing? Gretchen wondered. "It's a magic book my dad gave me!" he exclaimed, as if he could read her mind. Gretchen just stared at him as if he was crazy. "It has every spell, potion, and reversal spell known to man!" he said, excitedly. He quickly searched through the musty volume and found a counter spell. Gretchen's heart soured. She would finally be back to normal! Surprisingly, Megee's head lowered.
"What is it" she asked, in fear of the answer.
"It says here that the spell won't take into effect until a week"
"What!?"
Megee sighed. This was going to be a long week.
