Inuyasha sat alone on the swing in the pitch darkness of the night. A nearby street lamp dimly lit his outline, reminding him of his own existence.

Keeping his eyes closed, he smiled sadly over his memories from the past.

Kagome...he missed her a lot.

In the silence of night, he began to sing the song he wrote in his sadness.

Can't you see that I wanna be, there with open arms?
It's empty at night, and I'm all alone, get me through this one.

Do you notice, I'm gone?

A lone tear slipped out, but his voice never once wavered as he sang to himself in the dark.

Days swiftly come and go, I'm dreaming of her, where do you run to?
So far...
She's seeing other away guys emotions they stir.

Opening his golden eyes, his head rocked back with the swing. Staring at the crescent moon, it's reflection was shone down on his angelic frame.

I'm writing again, these letters to you, how much I know.
I'm not sleeping, you're not here, the thought stops my heart.

Do you notice I'm gone?

Glancing at his watch briefly, it read 2:05am. Inuyasha was still outside, he was still alone...

Days swiftly come and go, I'm dreaming of her, where do you run to?
So far...

Beginning to swing quickly with force, Inuyasha propelled his body forwards and up as close to the stars as he could. Swinging higher, faster, he didn't stop as he sang.

Is crashed by a former love.
Can, you, help, me, find, a, way, to carry on again?

Suddenly halting his movements, Inuyasha was thrown off the swing, landing in the sandy, semi-soft graval.

Getting up and dusting off his knees, he walked back to the swing and sat down, hanging his head in his hands. A few more droplets of crystaline water escaped his forlorn eyes as he drowned in the sorrows of himself.

She's seeing other guys...

Sighing heavily, he finally moved away from the swing, watching it rock gently in the summer's breeze.

Suddenly, he heard his name called softly in the darkness a few meters away.

The sound caught his ears, which made his head snap up in surprise.

Kagome stood at the edge of the park, shuffling her foot in the short grass. Looking up at him, tears fell down her emotionally torn face.

Running to her, he stared at her for a moment, as if she weren't real.

Not a word was spoken as he grasped her in a tight hug, silently promising to never again let her go.

However, he felt himself hugging air as her form faded before his eyes.

Collapsing in the green grass, he wept on his hands and knees under the bright moon's rays.

I miss you so...
