prologue
Today's the day, the day i step away from the world as a single woman into the world of a happily married woman. I never thought i'd get here, well I always knew I would be getting married, but at the time i thought i would be marrying Mamoru-kun, save the world, create crystal tokyo and having Chibi-usa. That was the destiny we were told, all those years ago. We had no idea that our memories had been tampered with until the battle with galaxia was over.
As it turns out, Queen Serenity had planned the marriage between Edimiyon and I, but we were not so, well, thrilled. We both already had lovers that no one had known about, due to the fact that it would be highly frowned upon, as they were not of royal blood. In fact they were our personal servents.
I had planned to tell Seiya that night how much I loved him, that i wanted to run away with him. I had no idea that my mother had sent someone to follow me. When I got to Seiyas room, I found the place trashed and Seiya was gone. On his bed laid a note addressed to me.
"My princess,
if you have found this letter, it means that your mothers guards have taken me. I overheard a few of them talking about the Queens orders to capture me and put me on the first ship off the moon. I dont know how they found out, but i do know your mother is being lenient. I am not sure if I will ever see you again, but always remember this, I love you, my sweet Odango. I must go, I hear the guards!"

My heart broke reading this. I ran all the way to my mothers chambers and slammed the doors open, breathing heavily, tears streaking down my face. my mother looked up from her book in astonishment.
"Serenity! Have you lost your senses! A princess does not simply barge into a room like a mad woman!" she scolded.
"HOW COULD YOU!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, ignoring her scolding gaze, " How could you banish Seiya from our world!" She just sighed and placed her book down.
"My darling, he was nothing but a servant. He broke the law and as such, needed to be punished. Banishment was the least harsh punishment."
"I love him! Bring him back!" i pleaded, screaming with tears streaking down my face.
"I cannot and will not. You are to marry Prince Edimyion of the earth kingdom in just two days. Now stop this foolish behavior." She commanded sternly.
"I wont! I am going to follow Seiya and I will never come back!" i screeched and ran from the room.
"Serenity! Come ba-" Thats when the screams began. Beryl had made her move.
With the last of her energy, my mother sent the children of the moon to the earth and altered our memories.
