So this is my first story, so I'd love feedback. I'm a bit dyslexic so bare with me. I sadly do not own Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, or Breaking Dawn. That brings me to my next point, I haven't got my Breaking Dawn book yet but will be soon. So this story is post Eclipse, but nothing from Breaking Dawn happens in here. The name might change I was watching the movie The Day Zachary Beaver Came To Town, thus that's the story of how I named the story. Review please.

9/23/08-I'm changing the POV from third person to first after the first paragraph. Its easier for me to write like that.

Full Summary:

Ashlen's brother Neil never knew that his father was a werewolf, he didn't even know that werewolves let alone vampires where real. But, after he changed one day in front of Ash. A few days later his father, came into the picture and told him the Quileute legends. So when Neil turned 15 he moved away to be with Sam Uley's pack. Now a few weeks before Ashlen's 17 birthday she is moving out to Forks to live with him. What happens when a someone from her past shows up to haunt her. Will she fall for a certain werewolf or will she close herself off?

Sighing a blonde girl pulled a box full of junk out from under her bed, upon opening it she found old pictures, notes, candy wrappers and a photo album. As soon as she saw the cover her eyes started to swell with tears. On the first page was a happy looking family, minus a fatherly figure. There was a older looking woman, with tan skin, dark brown hair, and green eyes. Next to her was a teenage girl with a light tan, same green eyes as her mother, but her hair was a rusty brown-red color. Then in front of that girl was a boy that looked to be about ten, a mop of dirty blonde hair, with the same tan skin and green eyes as his mother and sister. To his right was his younger towheaded sister but, only by two years, she had porcelain skin and dark blue eyes. Around the smallest girls neck was a tan arm that lead to a boy that looked younger than the teen girl but older than the other boy, he was on his knees to be closer to his littlest sibling, his hazel eyes bright and his dark brown locks where cut short. They all had the same big smile, the sad thing was that if they where to pose for a picture like this now they all would have to be forced, to be this close to each other and their smiles would be fake. The girl felt a tear fall down her cheek and on to the laminated paper.

The only person in that picture that I could still trust was my eldest brother, Neil, he was my best friend even though he lived in Forks, Washington while I remained in Auburn, Maine. But, soon I would be living with my favorite person in the world. Right now everything I owned as in clothes, posters, shoes, books(that included a photo album my friends recently made), and other odd things where already in Forks with my brother. The only thing that I had in the room that I used to call mine was: a messenger bag, lap top case, and a change of clothes set on her old night stand. I fell onto the bed that only held a pillow and small quilt and set the alarm on my phone for 8:30 in the morning.

"Ashlen... Ashlen" load thuds could be heard at my door and my phone was beeping."ASHLEN JULIET SEILER! Get up!"

My head popped up from under the covers at the sound of my mom's now harsh sounding voice, I remember when it used to be soft and full of love and care. But, as the years past being a single parent got to her she slipped and fast. When she thought that no one would catch her she stumble upon who she would say is the perfect guy. But, I've never liked him much, him and his good for nothing daughters Mary and Marie, they're twins. Born with chocolate brown hair but, now its the fakest blonde I've ever seen. Its girls like them that give real blondes bad names.

"I'm up, I'm up" I croaked in a sleepy tone.

Sliding out of the bed and making my way to the bathroom. After the shower I walked over the clothes on the night stand and pulled on the plain black bra and purple boy short underwear. Over them I was clad in a long sapphire blue and white striped shirt and gray skinny jeans. After straining my hair and applying black eyeliner around my eyes and clear lip gloss, I put on the black and blue checkered slip on Vans. Then got all of my bags after I tugged on my favorite jacket and walked out the bedroom door.

"Mom, I'm ready for you to take me to the airport!" I called out. Shuffling came from the kitchen and then a woman that looked just the same as the one in the picture but more aged walked out into the family room, where I stood. Jane, stood at 5'6" two inches shorter than me, her apparel was the opposite of mine. My mother's hair was pulled back in a neat bun, and she wore a black crossdye pencil skirt and plaid jacket that was buttoned up so only the black collar of her shirt was showing.

"Okay, Ashlen go to the car I'll be there soon." Jane said walking back to the room she came from. I walked out of the house my bags dangling form my shoulder. Soon I was sitting in the plane, a short while after took off I was sleeping once again. I was shaken awake by a stewardess. A few moments later I was walking out of the terminal, I squealed when the very tall, tan, and built looking figure that was my brother came into my sight. I ran to him throwing my arms around his neck and he spun me around as we hugged. He left a few days after his fifthteenth birthday. I was the only person back home that knew he's a werewolf besides out mom and he left to be with the pack that his father left to be with our mom. Yeah, and then the whore left him to with my father but she too left him. I swear she makes no since what so ever. When he came around to tell Neil about being a werewolf, I got to hear all of it too, since I saw him in his wolf from before. I knew all about imprinting, vampires, the growing, ect. it killed me when he left but, it was what was best for him. I remember the first time he changed:

A thirteen year old Ashlen wondered into the forest behind her house. Her eyes filled with tears, she's been crying since the end of school. Marcus had been flirting with her and she didn't know that he was still with Brook. When Brook found out she was angry at the least. After the last bell rang on her way to her brothers car Brook and three of her friends beat her up, saying that if they every caught her near Marcus again it would far worse than this. Ash let out a sob as she sat herself on the ground leaning against a fallen tree.

"Aww, why is a girl as pretty as you all alone out here. Its not safe you know, things, terrible things, lurk around here. I suppose you're lucky that I found you, and not someone else." the voice belonged to a male, Ash shot her head up and was awestruck there stood the most handsome boy she'd ever seen, his pale skin contrasted against raven hair fell just below his ears and it looked like he'd just woken up. The most stunning of his features had to have been his very dark red eyes. Ashlen felt drawn to him, compelled to be close to him. She stood even though her mind wasn't working, and moved closer to the red eyed stranger.

"See that's it I wont hurt you sweetheart, there's no need to be scared of little ol' me. I don't bite hard." he chuckled at the end like it was some joke that him and his close friends would understand. Once she was right in front of him, his arms snaked around her waist pulling her into his chest. Ash could feel his cold mouth against her neck, and then the shock that she'd been waiting for kick in. But, her body couldn't move, the nameless man stiffened when he heard a few twigs snap. Out came Neil, he was quivering at the sight of his sister in distress. He ran at the man with alarming speed that even he didn't know he possessed. The man threw Ashlen way as he braced himself for the attack. But instead of her brother a huge light brown wolf stood. They fought ruthlessly until the man fled from the scene. The wolf thing turned to Ash, she automatically knew that it was her brother there eyes where still the same bright hazel color that she loves. Timidly she reached out to touch the wolf, it moved its head forward so his ear came in contact with her hand. She was surprised at the softness of his fur, Neil ran of into a set of bushes as he felt himself changing back.

"Umm, Ash do you by an chance have your gym sweat pants in you bag?" he asked his sister.

"Yeah, hold on," she fished them out of her bag and tossed them over to the bushes where he had ran. Thankfully the pants landed on top of them. A few moments later Neil came out clad in Ashlen's gym sweats. On the walk back to there house she told him what happened at school, and then they both wondered what caused him to turn into a wolf. When they got back home they told their mother, who was not happy about it. A week later Neil's father showed up and told them all about werewolves and vampires, Ashlen was so freaked out about how fast her life could have ended. But, it all calmed down, every night Neil went looking for any vampires that might be near.

"Neil, I missed you so much. It felt so much scarier with out you there." I said barely above a whisper.

"I'm sorry I left you Baby Girl, I just needed to be with others like me," I could tell by the look in his eyes that he really did feel bad.

But, that didn't matter to me anymore, I was back with my best friend.
