HISOKA
I see you sleeping,
In a world of your creation,
All dark and lonely,
Shunning sunlight and emotion,
I heard you weeping,
Sometimes screaming "Let me out..."
"This world is yours," I say.
Searching franticly,
"Can't you change it?"
"It's all I've known..." I hear,
Your voice stammering and weak,
From screaming...
I found you weeping,
In front of a memory,
The green in your eyes shining,
And wild with fear,
Of a secret sickness.
"Why..." your gentle voice stammers...
Seeing you believing,
Darkness is endless and complete,
I see you feeling my mind,
Feeling you...
I see now you see the minds of all,
I find it strange...
You who lives devoid of love,
And affections,
Can become steeped in love,
Felt for someone else,
"I'm alone..." your gentle voice,
Grows harsher believing others words,
Are slander...
The darkness slowly swallows,
You are standing as a child in a cage,
Weeping and tearing,
"Daddy let me out..."
The water's rising and I realize,
I'm crying...
I see you sitting on the floor,
Your knees to your chest,
Shaking and alone,
I run and reach you slowly,
Walking now fully knowing,
You hear me...
You looked at me,
Eyes wide in disbelief,
But the truth you now must know,
Standing now the sun is shining,
No longer lost you smile,
"I'm no longer alone..."
I smile as you proceed,
In the light you thought you lost,
I now notice your shadow,
The lingering darkness you will carry,
You turn one more time to me,
And say, "Despite the light the future holds,
You cannot change the darkness,
From which we descend..."
Now I look on in disbelief,
As you smile at me,
But now I see.
