I was listening to the HSM2 soundtrack when I was inspred at 1:30 in the morning but whatever people have been inspired in a lot stranger situations. The song doesn't quite fit at some parts so I'm editing the lyrics together to fit the story better, I know Max wouldn't sing usually but deal. Max is Gabriella and the Troy parts are Fang. Oh Ya this is after SOF.

Max POV

I looked back at my sleeping flock. I hated to do this but I knew I had to. I was about to take off when Fangs hand grabed my shoulder.

"Max where are you going?"

"I gotta say what's on my mind.

Something about us doesn't seem right these days.

Life keeps getting in the way.

Whenever we try, somehow the plan is always rearranged.

It's hard to say, but I've gotta do what's the best for me.

"Max what do you mean?"

I've got to move on and be who I am.

"Max where is this coming from? The voice? Just stay. We'll figure it out."

"I'm sorry Fang I gotta go my own way. Once the world has been saved I'll find you guys. I promise. Just don't follow me. I need to be on my own for now."

I swear I saw and tear swell in Fangs eye. I hated seeing him like this but I have to move on for now.

"Goodbye Fang." I whispered as I took off from where I left Fang only daring to look back to make sure Fang hadn't followed me. He hadn't. He had landed back in the clearing with the flock.

I hated leaving him like this but I had to save the world. I would come back but for now I had to go my own way.
