My son, 9-volt and his friend were playing video games all day and they had not done their homework yet. So I snatched the game off them and told them to go do it.

I looked at the game for a few seconds, I decided to play it for a bit. It looked fun after all and I got 100 points on it. Isn't that AMAZING!?

9-Volt then came back for the game, I gave it to him. He looked so excited.

He looked at the game for a few seconds and that smile turned into an angry frown. He looked at me with fire in his eyes.

'You beat my highscore!' He said to me. I then blushed and walked away, very slowly...

That night, I tucked 9-Volt into bed wishing him a goodnight's sleep.

As I walked away from his room, I was sure I could hear music, music that came from 9-Volt's game.

I rushed to the door and opened it.

9-Volt was asleep which was strange, because I was sure I was not imagining it. I must of imagined it though, 9-Volt wouldn't stay up late at night...right?

I then closed the door behind me, ready to go to bed myself. But then I heard the music again, this was certanly real.

So I ran to 9-Volt's bedroom window and opened it, he was still asleep. I must be some crazy loonatic or something. Some crazy lunatic that needs some sleep.

Once again, I heard the music, I rushed to the door and what a surprise, he was asleep.

I smacked myself on the arm. 'Don't check on him again.' I said to myself.

I finally got into bed, forgeting to change into my pjs. I just could not be bothered to change. That is all.

But as I tried to go to sleep, I had this very strange feeling that he was being very sneaky.

I got out of bed and sighed to myself. 'Last time.'

This time, I didn't go through the door, I didn't go to the window.

Instead I decided to give the little munchkin a scare by coming out of the T.V. (Don't ask me how I do it. I don't know myself!)

This time I saw 9-Volt, awake with the game in his hands. He looked at me with fear in his eyes. Serves him right. I knew I wasn't imagining things!

In the morning, I punished him by taking away his game for the day.
