CHERUB: the GHOSTs

CHERUB isn't the only agency that uses children to serve their country. After the Second World War, the ATHENA Council created a Special Operations Group Known as GST, GHOSTS. Formed from children that will stop at nothing to complete the objective, by any means. And HUNTER Squad will lead the way. Rated T but may move to M.

Prologue

CHERUB is a branch of MI5, which specializes in intelligence gathering and espionage. The agents however, are children, those that have been abandoned or orphaned.

CHERUB has a high success rate with only the loss of four children who gave their lives to them since the end of the Second World War.

However there are those from other nations, which lose more. In the United States there is a program similar to MI5's CHERUB unit. To the higher ups, this Elite Alpha Unit is known as GST (Group for Special Tactics), but to the members they are GHOSTs.

GHOSTs, like the CHERUBs, are either orphans or unwanted, runaways even. Taken in at any age, they are trained as elite soldiers & spies, but are also given the best education for a life after GST retirement (usually after 15 years of active service), used for reconnaissance and rarely frontline soldiers, for foreign and domestic Operations.

CHERUB and GHOSTS have an interesting history of working together, often the GHOSTS going in armed, hard and fast, and then leaving without a trace. Equipped with advanced military technology, the GHOSTS handle their operations with ease. A few times a year the GHOSTS will arrive on the CHERUB Campus, to use as a base, as agreed to by the MI5s Board for CHERUB and the ATHENA Council for the GHOSTS.

One of the most recognized Squads from GHOSTS is HUNTER. A four man squad, that has had one of the highest success rates in its Generation. The squad is consists of Seth Nixon (Call sign: Hunter-Lead or Sever), his second Ethan Carter (Call sign: Hunter-2 or Cutter), Combat medic and sniper Zoë Hunt (Call sign: Hunter-3 or Huntress) and tech specialist Blake Smith (Call sign: Hunter-4 or Forge).

Hunter squad has spent most of their active service working alongside the CHERUBs, that they have been considered 'Honorary' Agents. Most of the time on Campus, they can be found at the firing-range or playing paintball with the CHERUBs. Once in a while GHOST members are found on the assault course trying to beat each other's records for friendly competition. Currently HUNTER Squad is on their way to the CHERUB Campus…

this is actually my first posting of a story but i have had this in my head for a while.

so i apologize if it's not up to standards, so i'm trying to see how well this will turn out.
