My first story! Hurray! I would like to thank everybody who helped me write, and come up with the idea for this story! My mom, was a big help, she always encouraged me to stop watching TV (in forceful ways sometimes), I would like to say thanks to the neighbor's dog for keeping me up at night and forcing me write, and lastly my younger sister, if she didn't keep bothering me all the time I would've never come up with this assassin story! Enjoy!
Prologue
The scene that was unfolding before Wong Yao's eyes, seemed like an excerpt from an American romance film, a young rich heiress fooling around with an older foreign waiter on a balcony away the noise of the party inside. The woman's arms were tightly wrapped the man's neck, pulling him in close, and allowing her to share deep kisses with him. Yao sat quietly from the neighboring building, observing the scene from the scope of his sniper gun. He pressed the receiver in her ear, in an attempt to drown out the music that echoed from the party.
"you need to move, your body's blocking my target."
Through the receiver Yao could hear a faint laugh. "what's wrong?" the woman pulled her lips away, licking them with a content smile.
The waiter grinned, pulling her body close, "ah, your face was so cute Madame. I couldn't contain myself; must you be married tomorrow?"
The man slipped his hand under the tight black dress, gently caressing her thigh, the other hand brushing through her long blonde hair.
The woman giggled, encouraging the man actions. "I don't want to marry the pig, but as you can see he has is quite rich."
" Décevante! As you can see, I am quite enchanté by you. How I yearn to spend the night with you! I would treat you ever so gently, I'd massage your bossom, tease your-" Yao snatched the receiver out his ear, his face turning bright red. It was at times like this which would make Yao wonder why he was partnered with Francis. He was a big playboy, with an ego the size of Canada. He never took missions seriously, and always flirts with the client, no matter what gender. Although their team consisted of four other people, Yao was often paired off with Francis since. According to the team leader, he was the only one who could keep Francis focused, and keep him in order.
Yao gripped the gun, watching as Francis slowly moved away from the target, allowing him to shot. He carefully watched the targets movement, tightening his grip on the gun. Yao took a deep breath, and with one quick movement, fired a bullet toward the female's head. He watched as the young heiresses face switched from happiness to shock.
It was hard having a job that required killing. Yao didn't like the thought the thought of killing people, but this was something he wanted to do. This was the only way he could get close to Ivan. Yao shut his eyes, silently
Praying for the deceased, and praying for forgiveness. As words slipped out his mouth, memories of an unforgettable past flooded his mind. He was so young when it all happened. He couldn't have done much, but now he could fix his past, atone for the sins he brought about himself. This wasn't a choice, Nor was it a simple want. This was something he needed to do. It was something that could only be done by him; this would allow him to get revenge on the man who took everything from him.
