Luke Skywalker left the second Death Star before it exploded with his father Anakin Skywalker, formerly Darth Vader, who passed out due to exhaustion. They landed on Endor and before they left the shuttle he took Anakin out of the suit so he's not recognized. "Leia I need medical attention now." Luke said. "Luke I want to thank you for saving me. All I ever wanted to do was be with the people I love. I only became Darth Vader because I was promised I could save your mother from dying."

Anakin arrived at the Senate building just as Mace Windu was about to kill Darth Sidious. "Anakin I told you it would come to this. I was right. The Jedi are taking over." Sidious said. "The oppression of the sith will never return. You have lost. Windu said. "No. No. NO YOU WILL DIE." Suddenly Sidious blasts Windu with sith lighting which he deflects. "He's a traitor." "He is the traitor." Sidious stops and begs for his life. "I am gonna end this once and for all." Mace said. "You can't. He must stand trial." Anakin said. "He has control of the Senate and the courts. He's too dangerous to be left alive." Mace said. "It's not the Jedi way. He must live." Anakin said. "Please don't." "I need him." PLEASE DON'T." Mace goes to do the final blow. "NO!" Anakin screamed and then cuts Mace's hand. Sidious blasts him again. "POWER. UNLIMITED POWER." "What have I done?" Anakin said. "You're fulfilling your destiny Anakin. Become my apprentice. Learn to use the dark side of the force." "I will do whatever you ask." "Good." "Just help me save Padme's life. I can't live without her." "The force is strong with you. A powerful Sith you will become. Henceforth you shall be know as Darth Vader." "Thank you my master."
