Onto the Chapter!
Chapter 1
Lapis successfully landed on homeworld, taking in the surroundings. The planet had changed, but she could still find out where she was. Spreading her wings again, she flew to a little, crystalized, blue and green house on the edge of homeworld.
Of course she wouldn't move. Lapris thought to herself. The blue gem silently walked into the house.
The first place she checked was her own room. It had remained completely untouch, looking the same as when she left: only a bit cleaner.
The next place she checked was the green gem's room. It was more modern and even had a screen that was flickering in the dark. The floor was littered with small robots Lapis had never seen, but she noticed a green gem that seemed to be hovering over them, though just slightly.
It took Lapis only a second to rush over and gently cup the gem in her hands.
"I'm back." She said in a quiet voice. She was was immediately caught in a tight embrace.
"What took you so long?" Peridot demanded. Even though she tried to hide it, her voice laced with concern.
"Sorry, Peri." Lapis said. "Something...happened."
"What." Peridot said, the concern gone. "What happened."
"I...Iwastrappedinamirror." Lapis said really fast. She hoped Peridot hadn't heard what she had said, but judging from her expression...she had.
"You were what?" Peridot asked, narrowing her eyes. Lapis didn't say anything.
"Lapis." The said gem sighed.
"I was trapped in a mirror." Lapis said, looking away. Peridot didn't say anything, but Lapis heard a small creaking noise, then the sound of one of something breaking.
She looked to see Peridot with a look of anger staring at what used to be a robot.
"What are you doing, Peridot?" Lapis asked, shocked. Peri had never destroyed a robot much less one of her own.
"Do you know what it was like for me?" Peridot asked, her voice rising. "I didn't know if you were hurt or captured...or even if you were dead!"
"I..." Lapis started, but was cut off.
"Everything that I did before you came back was to distract me. But-"
"Peri." Lapis firmly said. "I'm back. There's no need to be upset."
Peridot looked like she wanted to say something else, but simply nodded her head.
"Yeah. You are."
