Zexion groaned and placed his book down on his bed side table. He covered his ears with his pale hands, trying to block out the loud music that was fuelling his forming headache. However no matter how hard he tried the sound seemed to seep into his brain, making his head throb harder.
Unable to stand it any longer, the Cloaked Schemer got up off his bed, zipped up his black cloak and slipped his small sock covered feet into his Organization XIII boots. He opened the door to his room and stepped out into one of the many corridors of Castle Oblivion. He walked past Number VII and VIII's room and faced the door that the sound was coming from. Scowling at the sign on it, which simply read:
'XI'
Zexion sighed and massaged his temples, his headache growing at the sound of the electro pop song…
'Cause they'd fill the open air
And leave teardrops everywhere
You'd think me rude
But I would just stop and stare'
He knocked loudly on the door of the Melodious Nocturne, but grumbled to himself when no answer came. Demyx obviously couldn't hear Number VI's knocking because of the music, which of coarse was even louder now that Zexion was standing right outside the source. He tried the handle, and was surprised to find that the door was open. The small pale Nobody opened the door.
What he saw made his eyes widen in shock and a blush crept over his face. Demyx was singing and jumping on his bed, wearing only a pair of dark blue boxers decorated in light blue bubbles and fish. His head throbbed more; this song was killing him…
'I'd like make myself believe
That planet Earth turns slowly
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay awake
When I'm asleep
Cause everything is never as it seems
When I fall asleep'
An Owl City album lay on Demyx's bed which was slightly bouncing up and down from the Nocturne's bouncing.
Demyx hadn't noticed Zexion, and continued jumping and singing…until Zexion turned the source of the noise, and his headache, off. Demyx's eyes which had been closed as he lost himself in the music, snapped open, his singing faded, and he visibly blushed as he saw the Cloaked Schemer before him standing there, eyes wide and staring, mouth agape. Demyx plonked himself on the edge of his bed, still blushing; he scratched the back of his head,
"Oh hi Zexy, I didn't see you there, is there something you want?"
At that moment, Zexion lunged forward grabbing Demyx's shoulders as he kissed the Nocturne passionately, sliding his tongue into the older Nobody's mouth before he had time to protest. Demyx's own eyes widened, but he kissed with just as much passion nonetheless. Number IX's arms wrapped around the smaller Nobody's waist while the Schemer's fingers tangled themselves in the older male's hair, which surprisingly soft and smooth for being in a mullet and mohawk love child. This action issued a soft moan from the sitar player, who, worried that things were going too fast too soon, abruptly ended the kiss. Zexion detached his fingers from the dirty blonde hair, his face had shock written all over it, thinking that Demyx didn't feel the same way, he tried to run, but Demyx's strong arms still held onto his waist. Demyx bent down and whispered inn Zexion's ear,
"my room…at midnight"
Zexion's face turned bright red and he nodded, Demyx let go of his waist and Zexion quickly rushed out.
Demyx sighed and put the CD away, he chuckled and said to himself,
"I'm gonna have to get this CD bronzed and framed tomorrow."
In Zexion's room Zexion wrote down in his diary what just happened and added a small note at the bottom:
"Demyx + boxers + music = the best kiss ever!
