SUMMARY: I originally had this on the Harry Potter Fanfiction site I belonged to, but I am now posting all those stories onto my accont. So here was the summary I had for that site: I thought this song was perfect for James and Lily. My parents love this song and I grew up to love it and call it their song. (At least I like to call it that!) Seeing my parents slow dance to this is soo precious! Why not have Lily and James do the same? Please read and review!

Lily and James Potter they spent every minute they could together. After they had a child. Harry James Potter. But what was it like the day before they died?

It was midnight, and Harry had just gone to bed. Lily heard James calling her into the other room. So she walked into the other room. He was in front of the CD player. He had just put in a CD and grinned at his wife before saying,

"I found this song...it's our song! Come here and dance with me Lily!" she laughed as he pulled her into the middle of the family room and turned the music on.

Lily smiled when the first words were sung. She looked at James as he held her close.
"James...how did you know I loved this song?" he grinned and shrugged as he spun her.
"I'm just a great guesser!" she laughed as she kissed his lips gently.

"I take it you agree with me?" she laughed as he spun her again.

She nodded and kissed him again. She began to hum the song.

He slowly spun her again as he began to sing the song himself.

"You heard me singing when Sirius got me drunk! That doesn't count!" she laughed as he spun her around yet again.

"Ohh so you were drunk? Hmm...now that you mention it you sound the same now..." he laughed as he stuck his tounge out playfully.

The song was coming to an end as he spun her once more. He slowly dipped her back and kissed her lips.

"I love you James." whispered Lily as she hugged him close.
"I love you too Lily." he whispered back as he kissed her lovingly.

That was the last romantic moment they were allowed to have. Because the next day they were killed. But they were glad they spent that time together.
