In an isolated part of New York City, a woman runs for her life through an alleyway. She turns a corner only to run into a yellow and black clad ninja with bright white eyes. He grabs her and lifts her up by her neck. "Where is it!" He yells. A bright flash followed by the sound of thunder appears in the alley to reveal the thunder-god himself kneeling before the two.
"Face me demon!" He yells as he stands and faces the attacker. Scorpion tosses the girl to the side and throws his chain at the thunderer.
"Get over here!" Scorpion yells as Thor deflects the chain with moljnir, his hammer. Thor goes onto throw several lighting bolts at the demon. Scorpion teleports to avoid each blast. He then appears behind the god and kicks him forward. Scorpion removes his mask and coats the thunderer with fire from head to toe.
"You fight well, for a mortal." Thor says as he swings his hammer like a fan and puts out the flames. He then smashes the ground sending a shockwave that knocks Scorpion over. Scorpion awakens as Thor lays Moljnir on his torso. "What reason do you have for invading Midgard demon?"
"This world will burn!" Scorpion answers before teleporting back to the Netherrealm.
Elsewhere, A green haired and batwinged beauty searches the temple of Hera. She grabs a mirror from its alter. "Hey there good-looking." She says looking into the mirror before putting it away in a pocket dimension. A knife is then thrown into the wall next to her head.
"Blasphemer!" Diana said in her armor. She unsheathed her sword and readied her shield.
"Yummy, a new plaything. Don't worry though, I'll be ever so gentle." Morrigan said.
Both women leaped into the air. Morrigan used her legs as a drill while Diana blocked her with the shield. Diana then swung her blade down as Morrigna blocked it with her wings in the nick of time. The impact still sent her crashing back into the ground. Diana quickly switches to her lasso. Morrigan gets back up as Diana ties the lasso around her. Diana runs around Morrigan quickly to bound her even tighter. She then kicks the tied succubus to the floor pins her to the floor underneath her boot.
"Confess to me, who are you working for?" Diana asks activating the magic in her lasso.
"I can't say his true name. I only know his true goal is to begin and end everything in chaos." Morrigan answers before using her hidden spikes to break free of her bindings. "That was fun darling but I have what I came for. Next time bring a tighter rope. Chow." Morrigan says as a swarm of bats surrounds her and flys away leaving no trace of her.
In the Netherrealm, Scorpion and Morrigan look down a fiery pit. "Do you have your piece?" Scorpion asks. Morrigan pulls the mirror out.
"I showed you mine, now you show me yours." Morrigan says.
"There were unforeseen complications." Scorpion answered back. The flames began to flare.
"failure will not be tolerated a second time Scorpion!" A voice from the flames echoed.
"What now? We only have one mirror." Morrigan asks.
"It matters not! One mirror is still enough to join the two realms! Once done, you can cross into Scorpion's world and assist him in retrieving the second mirror!" The voice answered.
"Alright then." Morrigan says as she tosses the mirror into the flames.
