This was inspired by the episode where Rhiannon kissed charlotte then ran off. This is what I thought could have happened if Charlotte had chased after Rhiannon and found her before Gabbi. Hope you like. Also this is my first All Saints fic, so hopefully it is all right.

Rhiannon entered the change rooms trying not to cry, but even before she had checked the toilets she started to cry, letting the tears that had been threatening to spill over finally come.

She had been so sure that Charlotte had been interested in her, she knew that Charlotte was not straight. So that's why she had kissed her, but Charlotte had pulled away. She couldn't believe that she had made such a stupid mistake, how was she ever going to look at her again?

A second later she heard the bathroom door open, but was not quick enough to dry her eyes before Charlotte came in.

"Hi."

If she ignored Charlotte perhaps she would go away.

It didn't work, she stayed there.

Slowly Rhiannon turned around, trying to stem her tears.

Charlotte was their leaning against the basin, just looking at her.

"I'm so sorry, Charlotte please forgive me."

Charlotte smiled.

"You know the first woman I liked, I tried to kiss her, but she pulled away. What was worse was she was straight, but I thought that she was gay."

"What happened?"

"Well we talked, and after a while we even became friends, I don't see her much now because she lives in Melbourne, but we're still friends."

"Are you angry at me?"

"Angry for what, trying to kiss someone that you liked, no I am not."

"You're not angry at me?" Rhiannon asked in disbelief trying to believe what Charlotte was saying.

"Rhiannon, listen, you're a lovely girl, okay, you're kind and gentle, a good nurse, and you're great with kids but I don't like you that way. I am sorry, I know it is hard."

Rhiannon nodded.

"There are lots more people out there Rhiannon, and I know that one day you will find the one for you and they will love you like you deserve. Even if it feels like I am the one, I am not, trust me, okay."

Rhiannon just nodded again.

Charlotte gave her one last smile and walked out of the toilet.

That night Rhiannon was sitting at a club drinking, she had been sitting at home thinking about Charlotte, and how she was meant to be the one. She realized that it was not getting her anywhere, it was never going to happen no matter how much she wanted it. So she had done something about it. She had had a shower, put on some nice clothes and gone out to the club.

A minute later, another girl came up to her and invited her for a dance.

This was the first night of the rest of her life.
