Good morning class, today we will be learning about the Undead Rights movement! Please turn to page 5061 in your history books.

Long ago, the intelligent forms of the undead, like Liches, vampires, and ghosts were downtrodden, being used as tools by conjurers and cut down by adventurers. This cruelty to Sentient Undead, was stopped in 130 4E by the Undead rights Movement one year before, which was started by A greater lich by the name of Micheal Licher King Jr.

Michael was a simple lich, he had a nice staff, and he owned a small Aleiyd ruin on the southern tip of Cyrodil. Early on in his un-life, Michael grew upset with the poor way intelligent undead were treated, but he thought himself more or less powerless against the government system. So he simply sighed and moped about his ruins for a few centuries, ocasionaly flaying an adventurer alive, until in 129 4E, a group of adventurers came storming in and pillaged his ruin. They imprisoned him in a forcefield. Once they left and the forcefield was lifted, he blew his top, and summoned up every ghost, Lich, necromancer, and Vampire he could to march on the Imperial City, where he delivered his famous "I have a nightmare" speech. He soon became a beloved icon among the dead and the living everywhere. One vampire was once quoted as saying "Michael Licher King rules! What he's doing is so good. I hope he succeeds, because then they'll open up Blood Banks for us Vampires. People won't hate us for drinking blood anymore! We don't really like killing. Okay, most of us don't, but its not so much that we want to kill all humans, as much as we want to drain all of your blood. Does that make sense to you?"

On the 26th of the First Seed, 130 4E, Michael met with Chancellor Ocato to sign the Undead Concurrence law. It was a joyous day for Undead everywhere.

Sadly, Michael was killed by an angry Vampire hunter in the Tiber Septim Hotel. The liches of the newly formed Imperial Undead Peacekeepers, a group of Undead and Living who made sure people abided by the New Undead Concurrence law, sentenced him to an eturnity of unlife, infecting him with vampirism, placing one of the old Morrowind Slave bracers on him, effectivly silencing him. They also placed him in a small 1 and 1/2 by 1 and 1/2 foot room, which has no windows or doors. One 2 ounce package of blood is teleported in to his death cell every hundred years. The Michael Licher King Jr. Blood Bank was built in honer of That famous lich. In a fit of cruel irony, one of the Blind Moth Priests was quoted saying "We totally saw this coming."

Many vampires joined the Imperial Legion soon after the Undead Rights Movement.

There are several moments of silence in the class room.

Is everyone finished? Good. For tonight's homework, I want a magical model of a significant event during The Undead rights Movement. Remember to bring your goggles to Alchemy class tomorrow, we are making liquid fire and insta-freeze!
