Sasuke looked at the pairing tag, looking vaguely pissed.

Hinata did the same, and she looked uncomfortable at best.

"Yeah, no way. First of all, when it comes to reviving my clan, I will need someone who is not from a clan, and if I do pick someone from a clan, I'll look for someone who doesn't have a bloodline. Failing that, I will never reproduce with anyone that has a doujutsu that could override the Sharingan in my children. So, this? Not happening. Ever."

"I like Naruto-kun! I don't like Sasuke-kun!" Hinata said, glaring at the story's summary. "Sasuke-kun is cold, hate-filled and dark! I like Naruto-kun because he's warm, cheerful and bright even in the face of adversity! That and my family just would never allow this. I'm the heiress of the Hyuuga clan. I can't marry into another clan, and there's no way Sasuke-kun would marry into the Hyuuga clan."

"See? Even she knows that much." Sasuke growled at the audience.

Then Naruto came into the plane of disembodied voices that was the environment of this fic, popping right the f*ck outta nowhere. "Hey Sasuke, Kakashi-sensei's wondering if you're gonna come to training today. Oh hi Hinata!" Naruto spoke, his tone becoming similar to that of a five foot girly haired french zombie as he greeted Hinata.

"H-Hi N-Naruto-kun!" Hinata spoke, smiling shyly and starting to poke her fingers together.

Sasuke looked vaguely bemused by the whole affair.

"Let's go already, Sensei's gonna be more annoying than usual! If we're fast enough, we could pick up some ramen takeout on the way to the training grounds." Explained Naruto. "You wanna come too, Hinata?" He asked.

The girl blushed and nodded, muttering out a barely understandable "Okay."

Sasuke looked as if he was lost in thought for a minute there. "I'm not entirely against a threesome, though..." He admitted.

Hinata turned to him. "I am. I only want Naruto-kun!"

"Who cares about you? All that idiot can think about is Sakura anyway." Incidentally, at that moment Naruto was describing his plan of getting Sakura to agree to go on a date with him to one of his clones so it would go pick her up. Hinata slumped her shoulders.

"Yeah... you're right..."

They didn't get to eat.
