After 12 years of working for the NYPD you think you would get used to the victims sad story's and the criminals sick minds. But this case was different. Olivia had got the main suspect to crack earlier in the evening. She always slept good
on nights like these but she didn't know why tonight was different. It's probably because Elliot wasn't there.She was wondering why he was gone, he hadn't called or text her saying he was sick or anything like that.
Olivia's phone rang. She picked it up , it was Elliot.
" El, we solved the case we got the rapist to confess."
"Sorry I wasn't there I had a lot of paperwork for the divorce. Is something wrong you sound worried?"
"I'm fine."
"Liv, I-"
"Sorry I'm getting a call from Alex it might have something to do with the baby."
Elliot sighed" Ok bye."
Olivia hung up and answered Alex's call
"Liv I think my water broke!"
" I'll be there in a moment take deep breaths I'll be there. "
"Ok. Bye"
Olivia went to her car and called El back before she left
"El, Alex's water broke. "
"What hospital I can meet you there."
"I'll justpick you up."
"Ok Liv"
She got to Elliot's apparentsooner than she expected.
" This is wayearlier than her duedate"
" Wasn't she duein early May?"
"Yes." Olivia bither bottom lip something felt wrong.Olivia stop thinking of the worst that can happen these doctors have felt with everything nothing can go wrong.
"Were here." Liv said barley above a whisper
They got to the maternity floor and didn't see Alex anywhere. They went up to the desk
"Excuse me what room is Alexandrea Cabbot in."
"You must be Olivia, she is in room 2187 she requested you be there."
"Thank you."
Elliot turned to Liv " I'll be in the waiting room "
"Thank you Elliot."
Olivia found the room Alex was in she wasn't in labor yet but Alex was pale. After she started going into labor for about an hour the doctor said that it will take a long time so she can wait in the waiting room for a bit. She walked
to see Elliot sitting patiently in a chair
"Did she give birth yet?"
"No she is still in labor" Olivia couldn't help but think of what could happen
Elliotcould tell she was worried "I'm sure she'll be just fine." Elliot said giving her a smile and a hand on her shoulder
After a few hours the doctor came out with a clipboard and a grim look onhis face
"Ms Benson?"
"Yes." everything went all right Olivia to see, nothing went wrong
