Set some time after season six, obviously AU.
Un-Beta'd and very spur of the moment so all mistakes are mine.

There was one aspect of life back in OZ that wasn't too soul-crushingly hideous, and that was the temperature and weather control. The constant, unwavering blur of fluorescent lighting and grey walls did tend to slowly drain the life out of you but if it happened to be a freezing 20 bellow outside or a sweltering 112 at least you didn't feel it. And now, in his tiny, cramped apartment on the Lower East-Side Miguel was definitely feeling it. Of course, if he was back in the heat controlled, light controlled, weather controlled, every-fucking-thing controlled conditions of OZ he wouldn't be lying on his bed right now with Alonzo slowly licking the sweat off his body, so he couldn't exactly say he missed it.
