Raven could see Starfire was upset.

All the boys were refusing her invitation to go out for lunch. Instead, they had voted on playing video games all afternoon. This didn't bother Raven, she would use the time for reading. Settling into a chair, she opened her book. However, she found herself unable to concentrate. Her eyes were drawn again and again to Starfire, who was stubbornly refusing to leave the room in an effort to at least spend her day in the same general area as her friends.

Starfire was not a video game player. She watched, expression desolate as the boys speedy fingers danced over the video game controllers.

"Snack break." Cyborg announced after about an hour of game time. Raven raised an eyebrow as Starfire's face lit up and then fell. The boys had walked by her without a word.

"Maaaan, I gotta take a leak!" Beast Boy complained.

"Race you for it." Cyborg grinned.

"You're on!"

Robin laughed lightly as he observed the two boys race in the direction of the facilities. He then turned his attention to the contents in the fridge.

Raven blinked, looking up once again from her reading. Starfire had suddenly come to life, she was inching her way toward the television and the game consol, her eyes darting from Robin's turned back to the controllers on the floor. Swiftly, she made her move. Only Raven saw her disappear down the hall.

Moments later, Beast Boy and Cyborg had returned, arguing good humoredly about the fairness of the race. Cyborgs' face became crestfallen as he noticed the missing controllers.

"Yo' Robin, what happened to the controls?"

Robin popped his head out of the fridge, "What do you mean?"

"The CONTROLS Robin, they're gone." Cyborg was getting irritated, "Are you playing some kind of joke?"

"No way! Hey Starfire, do you know what happened to our controls?" Robin addressed the Tamaranian, who had mysteriously appeared in the doorway.

"Controls? I know nothing of what has happened to your controls." Starfire replied, eyes innocent and wide.

"What about you Raven, did you see anything?" Frowning, Robin had turned to Raven in her chair.

"I've been reading." Raven replied blandly. Unable to help herself, she glanced over at Starfire, who was smiling impishly.

"Friends, as there seems to be no controls for you to game with, perhaps now we might venture out for lunch?" Suggested Starfire hopefully.

"I'm in." Raven put down her book and made her way to the exit, "Anyone else coming?"

Starfire soared joyfully out. With a shrug, Robin headed after the girls. Beast Boy and Cyborg followed, bringing up the rear.
