The Devil in Chains: Prolouge
People say that your only as free as you make yourself. But that one day, that freedom will be tied down. It was my father that told me that. He was once like me, until a woman had him wrapped around her pinky finger, and when he finally asked they were married and happy for a time, that is untill she died after Regules was born. Then father married a goldigger, and she treated me and Regules horribly. I ran away the first chance I'd had, and left the old me behind. I swore that I'd never let a woman tie me down, and take away my freedom. That there would not be another in our family that will have chains around them tying us down. My father says I was a fool for trying to run, he told me that it was a different kind of freedom, I told him he was wrong. That I'll define my own freedom when and if I find it. My name is Sirius Black, and this is how I lost my freedom.
