A Confusing Valentine

Ok. So here it was. The store. Tomorrow was Valentines Day. Too confusing if you ask him. All the hype about who loves who, it's really a ploy by big companies to make lots of money through selling chocolate.
None the less, he was here. Now why exactly was he here? In all truth, he wasn't sure. To get a present for Tohru? Yes, that's it. To get a present for Tohru. But what now? As he walked through the automatic doors, he observed how cheesy the store looks with hearts, candy and flowers galore. Meanwhile. he was pondering the question of just what to get her.
Chocolate..? He wasn't sure... wouldn't she be getting enough chocolate? Or... flowers? Gaah.. too confusing. Something to decide later.
He should probably get her a card.
He picked up the first card he saw. A couple of red hearts, purple hearts... pink background.
Happy Valentine's Day
Wow.. that was plain.
Ah.. this one looked nice. It had hearts inside hearts.. like a target.
It's Valentine's Day,
And I think of you
Wonderful thoughts fill my head
As they always do.
Never mind that one. He put it down.
He saw another one. It had a well drawn rose on it, with a plain white background.
Roses are red
Violets--
Uh... No.
You know... they could at least try to make this easy. Either he was crazy, or these people really didn't have enough originality to come up with more than one theme. Of course he had seen one with a photograph of a box of chocolates on the front that said "Hope your Valentine's Day is as sweet as you are!" He spotted another one. It had a huge red heart on a white background.

Ah, it'll work.
Okay. Yes, a present. By now, the lame music playing on the radio above him was really starting to get annoying, and he really wanted to get out of here. Immediately spotted was a bouquet of red roses, and he didn't hesitate at all in picking them up and heading toward the checkout line.
The cashier was standing there, with one hip in the air, way too bright lipstick, and snapping her gum way too loud. He hurried to pay for the items and walked straight out of the store.
Great. Now he just had to give them to her.
A/N: Just a short fic I did for Valentine's Day at the spur of the moment. Hope it turned out okay.
By the way, I didnt reveal the character on purpose- for you to decide. Im not sure if this is a one shot, depends what people say, I guess.
