PROLOGUE
I think of the times when life was so much simpler. a decade, a century, a millennium ago - I could not even remember when life was such.
It was always full of adventure. Full of turmoil political storms. A life that moves slowly and fast all at the same time.
Now, I wish I was never even born.
CHAPTER 1 : Life
The city of Seoul lit up the night - as the Archangel of Korea looks down from his office. Rising at almost four thousand feet high, the Twin Archangel Towers stood in the center of Archangel Bang's bright city that he calls home. It is home base for more than three hundred high level angels and vampires, it stands proud - two silver towers among the clouds.
As Bang looks affectionately over his city, he spots a pair of black wings with yellow primaries making it's way to him. An angel with jet black hair, skin the color of caramel and haunting brown eyes - Jeon may appear to be like a normal human if it were not for his wings.
He may be the youngest of his Seven, but he is also an angel touched with mortality - the only angel under his service that humans trust wholeheartedly to bring their concerns to their Archangel.
Jeon gracefully lands on the balcony of the Archangel's tower office and walks with purpose to stand beside Bang. Together, they look at the city who is preparing to sleep. The soft wind threatens to ruffle his hair, so he smoothes it out by running his fingers through it.
"Sire, I come bearing news. From the extraction team you sent to Busan. They have discovered something." he said. Bang turns toward him and speaks with an arrogance of an Archangel who lived for thousands of years. "What have they unearthed?"
"The prophecies of the Ancient Arcadia have been found. Well, pieces of it." Bang feels his left eye slightly twitch at the news. It is the only reaction he shows. "So it is true. the Archangel Arcadia's scrolls were buried before she went to Sleep. I never thought we would be able to find a missing piece of our history." "Neither did I, Sire. But there is no denying that her prophecies may or may not make a crack in our histories once the words are translated. For we do not know when these prophecies will happen."
Bang looked out at his city once more, spreading his wings to it's full length. Wings of bronze that glittered even in the night sky, and a striking silver that colored his primaries - A mismash of colors given to him by his parents. The oldest of angels sometimes choose to Sleep, when ennui has taken root in the life of immortals such as them.
There are rumors that even the oldest of the Archangels continue to Sleep - awaiting the day when they are ready to face the changing world once more. Arcadia was one of them - an Ancient who lived thousands of years ago before he was born. Arcadia bore the ability of seeing the future. A prophet of her time, she wrote all of her visions to prophecies and hid them - for her visions were not always of prosperity and goodness.
And now it seems, that some of her prophecies were hidden in his territory.
It might now be the time to unravel the mysteries that surround one their oldest Archangel's legacies that is left to the immortal world.
