Prince of Persia
Prologue: Leap of Fortune
It was the largest room he'd ever seen, and that was certainly saying something. Powdered dust fell from the decrepit walls with every step he took. The foot steps echoed through the halls of the massive treasure room. At the end of this long and ancient room, was a shining chest that seemed to have passed the test of time with an A+. It almost lit up the dark room only lightened by the stone roof with several holes in it.
He was running, the man in the long, tan pants and shirt with a brown vest that flew in the wind. He had a scarf, but that'd blown off a while ago. The floor collapsed behind him as he ran, bricks fell into the black abyss. There was a large gap between him and his goal. With no where safe to run, he leaped for the edge on the other side.
Missing he began to slip into that black abyss. Before he was consumed forever, a hand caught his. A man, exhausted as much as he was heaved him onto the other side. They rolled over flat onto the warm stone floor. After a few moments of panting, one began to laugh. The other laughed along. Before you know it the two men became hysterical.
Once this had calmed down, they both looked at their treasure as if they had rehearsed. Standing up, the one man opened the magnificent chest. Inside it contained a single thing, an old not book entitled Travelers Course.
"We've finally found it" The one man said breaking the silence. They both smiled as they held it.
"So, where do we start?" The other man said opening the notebook.
