I walked into the courtyard. Hogwarts was always packed around lunch. On of my friends, October, waved at me. "Zax! Over here!" She said, her black hair, streaked blue and pink, totally distracting me from flipping off two preps.

I rolled my eyes. She was always so peppie I sometimes thought she was a prep. "Kay," I said depressed.

She was sitting by her boy friend Draco. He used to be a prep and in one of the main for houses, Slytherin, but then October seduced him into coming into House Black. His hair was dyed black and his contacts were red today. "You look okay." I said, patting Draco on the shoulder. I always messed around with him just 'cause.

I sat down by my boy friend, Skull. He used to be a total prep an in Gryffindor, but then he dumped that poser Ginnie for me. Skull smile at me, showing his teeth, which were dyed black and had skulls in them, for his name."You look beautiful." He said, looking at me outfit for today.

I had selected some ripped red skinny jeans and a black t-shirt, a pair of thigh-high vans, and a leather jacket with spikes on it. I never tried too hard, that would make me a prep. "Thanks." I said. I looked over our lunch. "What is it today?"

Our good friend, Kry , gave a depressed smile. "Steak, raw for the blood."

Everyone in House Black drank blood, it was one of our 3 rituals. The others were: Cutting, partying, and being goth or emo. If you didn't follow these, you were immediately kicked out of House Black. Our Prefects, me, Skull, Draco, and October, made sure of that.

"That sounds amazing." I said, digging into the red meat. The blood erupted in my mouth.

"Oh I forgot," Kry said. "Theres an Evanescence concert in the Great Hall tonight."

"Kry!" October said. "Why are you so stupid!"

I sighed. "Don't be mean. She musta smoked something weird. Thats all."

Skull took my hand. "Lets go to the concert. It can be a double date."

October smiled, only somewhat happy. "That sounds cool. We'll be there." She said, taking Draco's hand.

"Awesome." I said, spearing some more meat on my fork. "It's a plan then."
