It was a bright, sunny day in Pallet Town, the day where two important young men to become pokemon trainers. Red and Blue Oak. But it wasn't just their special day. It was another young Pallet Town girl's day. Though, she would not be recieving a pokemon from the Pokemon professor, Samuel Oak, for she had raised an Eevee from an egg. After recieving her pokedex earlier than the boys, she had set out on her journey, only to be caught up with by Blue. That is, after he lost the match between his Squirtle and Red's Charmander. Unlike how Blue began to bully Red at a certain age, he and this young Pallet girl were still the best of friends, and a promise shared between the three. That they would always stick together, no matter what shape, form, or size. The three bound themselves together in one way or another. Blue and the girl both caught Pidgeys. His had been easy to catch, while his partner had tougher luck. Her pidgey had been a fighter and refused to be caught. But after distracing it with Vee's mighty Sand-Attack, it was caught and nicknamed Pidge out of respect and affection.
With their new pokemon acompaning them, they headed out to Viridian Forest. Red was behind, but later found with a Pikachu on his team. Both Blue and the girl breezed right through the forest with their flying pokemon and starters. By the time they came out, Blue's Squirtle was a Wartortle while her Pidgey had become a Pidgeotto. With his newly evolve Wartorle, Blue breezed right past the first gym leader, Brock. His friend didn't have as much ease. Vee's normal type moves weren't very effective and Pidge was no match for the rock types. Though, through hard training with Vee, she came out victorious.
Continueing on their way, the two battled many trainers. Along the way, Blue had captured a Ratatta, in which evolved not much later. With pride and courage, the two conquered Mt. Moon. Team Rocket hadn't appeared then, but later, when Red came along. Oddly, the girl had aqquired a new friend, a charmander who she lovingly nicknamed Winston. After training in Mt. Moon, it evolved into Charmeleon. After exiting Mt. Moon, the girl happily taught her Charmeleon Mega Punch. It'd been night by the time they reached Cerulean City and so they took in a room in the Pokemon Center.
Fully rested and determined, the two head off mean Bill, the pokemon maniac. Blue captured an Abra along the way. On their way back, his partner's Eevee had gotten poisoned and Blue was told to go ahead of them while she healed Vee. That was when Blue and Red had their second battle. Blue lost to Red's team. After catching up to Blue, the girl had to comfort Blue, telling him that he was a good trainer and that losses just made you stronger. That had been the night they shared their first kiss...
"Des! Earth to Des!" called a voice. Turning her head towards the voice, the girl smiled as none other than Blue Oak approached her, his faithful Umbreon at his side. Blue had gotten an Eevee in Celadon and it evolved into an Umbreon. Her own Eevee had evolved into an Espeon.
"Hey, Blue. Done already?" she murmured, standing up. Vee had leapt from her lap and to his feet, immediately nuzzling up to Umbreon, who, in return, nuzzled back.
"Yep! Blaine was a breeze! He stood no match for my Blastoise!" the boy stated proudly, with a little too much ego. Smiling softly, Des leaned up and kissed his cheek with a smile. They'd been traveling together for almost two years now, both with the all the badges but the Earth Badge. They'd become a couple after the Cerulean City incident and have been happy together ever since.
