First time for everything new
Prologue:
Stepped out of the plane and took a deep breath, she smiled," Welcome to Japan." She grabbed her luggage and ran forward to the counter. Her good friend shook her head and followed behind, smiling too.
Gen was an average student until she came to Japan. Yeah, she wasn't Japanese. She was Singaporean but she loves Japan. After taking Olevels, she decided to study in Japan. With her good friend, both of them left Singapore and headed to their dream country for further studies.
Before they went to Japan, their parents had done everything according to what they desired. Registering to a school, get a simple house (renting) and more were prepared long ago. They would certainly miss their home but this was all worth it.
Gen was determined.
"I'm not gonna to be the old me anymore," that became her goal from the moment she stepped into Japan.
She looked around the streets of Tokyo alone.
Eishi stayed at their new house to help unpack their luggage. Gen, being the naughty one, went out to play and check out their new environment.
As she skipped along the lonely part of the streets, a swoosh of wind suddenly passed by her. Next thing, she was almost knocked down by the wind. She felt someone's grabbing her bag and not letting go. She looked up.
A thief, how unlucky I can be for the first day, she thought.
She didn't let go of her own valuables too. Trying to be a pro, she started to kick the thief, and hoping that she won.
Wrong. So wrong. That thief was no ordinary thief. He slashed out a katana and almost hurt Gen. She fell back on the ground hard.
"OUCH! Hey, since when people can go around slashing other people with katana in Japan?!" she frowned. However as she realized things became so dangerous, she was getting scared.
The thief raised his katana and was in the position of killing the 16year-old girl. Just then, a guy, no younger than her, pushed the thief away hard. He was too holding a katana. The thief saw the guy and switched targets. The thief used his katana and tried to target the guy. When he was about to pull out his katana, the thief's katana hit on the guy's katana cover. His katana flew to the side of Gen. The guy was in the verge of danger zone of getting injured by the katana.
On the other hand, Gen took notice of the guy's katana. Stood rooted on the ground, she was amazed by the katana.
"Oh my gosh, Kanda's mugen…" she whispered and started drooling.
"AHEM!!!! A little help HERE?!??!" he tried to protect himself from the (ninja) thief, using the cover only.
