Search for the light

Traveling down the dark tunnel,

Trying to overcome their fear

Blindly defending themselves

From the evil the hangs above, and yet so near

Will they see the opening,

from which sunlight shone?

Or will they go on forever,

Isolated, alone?

They are children, belonging to a warless land -

But their lives are wrecked by a twist of fate,

Bearing an agony too strong to withstand

Taking on the burden and praying no mistake be made

And far into the darkness,

They saw a speck of light

Their spirits soared,

As they realized that this might be the end of their endless nights…

Filled with renewed hope, their faces brightened in joy

They went on, toward the tiny bright spot, where maybe their dreams lay.

There's still a long way for them to plow,

And the fight would go on, until they have reached peace's warm glow…
