I found a recorded tape on a hiking trail. I played it and wrote down all that was on it. I found the information astonishing. Please read.

Ok, listen up because I'm not going to say this again. You. Are. In. Danger. Maybe not today or tomorrow, but you are eventually. Your so-called "great government", takes innocent beings like me and experiments on them! How would you like to be poked, proded, electricuted, run until your heart is about to burst, or stuck in a water tank until you ran out of breath? Yeah, notfun.

But I'm getting ahead of myself. You don't even know who I am, do you?

No of course not, because your government wouldn't want to tell you that they have an uncontrollable experiment running loose.

My name is Tigress. And I am not natural. I am a failed animal-to-human experiment. I am not the first. My brother and my sister were the successes. I was the mutant. I have a human body, but I have tiger ears and a tail.

Don't believe me? Trust me. It's true. Everything I am about to tell you is true.

I used to be a tiger, but my siblings and I were captured by scientists for "research".

My brother was a huge success. Had had ears and tail that he could easily hide. He looked like a perfect human and had all human features, physical and mental.

My sister, another success. She didn't have ears and tail unless she wanted them, so the reverse of my brother. Also all human.

I was another story. I couldn't hide my ears and tail so easily and I did not act much like a normal human. Why? I was furious. They had taken me and my siblings from our home. They had hurt me, made me into something I felt uncomfortable as. I didn't want to be anywhere near them, but I couldn't go anywhere.

I didn't have a home anymore. The place I came from doesn't take too kindly to humans, even though I'm not totally one.

I will tell you more about me as my story progresses but for now, all you need to know is how all of us came together.

Oh yeah. I said us. Well... I'll explain more later.

Ow! My friend Tara just hit me. She says I should just get on with it. (Yeah yeah. Whatever. Look, do you want me to continue or not?)

As I was saying, I have a story to tell so unless you want to hear it, get rid of this tape. Now don't burn it, because eventually my friends and I will need it. Just hide it. Bury it. I dont care but do not give it to the government.

There is a pause and then the voice continues.

Alright. I guess you want to know. Here is the story of the tiger.
