I don't own The Big Bang Theory. Thank you to Sarah for reading over this and helping me make it better. This is strictly a one shot. I got bored at work and wrote it pretty quickly on the side of a small cardboard box. Any requests to expand the story will be ignored, because I ran out of room on the box.

His hands left damp prints on her back. Another bead of sweat rolled down between his shoulder blades. His knees trembled slightly from his exertions. He leaned forward and rested his head on the golden skin covering her clavicle. He was unused to such physical exertion.

One of her hands clung to his shoulder as the other threaded through the hair on his nape. Her lips brushed his earlobe, sending shivers down his spine. Almost, he thought to himself in an effort to keep his rapidly tiring body from losing it's rhythm.

"So close," her husky voice whispered in his ear. Her words helped bolster him. He dug deep for some reserved energy and began to move his hips quicker. She gasped at his renewed vigor and began to keep pace immediately. They were running on pure adrenalin now. Their bodies were exhausted, but their sheer desire kept them going.

His left hand moved to her hips and his fingers dug into her curve tightly. His right hand rose to brush a damp tendril of hair from her neck. He could feel her heart pounding against his chest, fast and furious, like his own. They moved in perfect unison. Their bodies fit together precisely.

Suddenly a whistle blew and the music stopped. They looked around, dazed, as the emcee lifted their hands and declared them the winners of the Cal-Tech charity dance off. They made their way to a couple of chairs and promptly fell asleep.

Leonard and Stephanie grinned from the front seats as they looked back at Sheldon and Penny. A large trophy sat between them.

Stephanie turned to Leonard. "I can't believe they danced 27 hours and 18 minutes straight. I wouldn't have guessed that Sheldon had the stamina for that!"

Leonard laughed. "I can believe it. Those two have always been too competitive. Why do you think it took them 4 years to admit they love one another?"

Stephanie leaned over and kissed him gently. "Once we get these two home, how about we go tango ourselves?"

Leonard grinned and started the car. "Okay, but don't expect me to live up to their example. I can't go 27 plus hours."

Stephanie giggled loudly. In the backseat, Sheldon fidgeted and Penny sleepily reached out to grasp his hand, knocking the trophy to the floor. Even asleep and exhausted, they instinctively sought each other out.
