Hello, this is not my first fanfiction but my first decent one (in my mind). Sorry it's a bit short and the formatting may be weird. I'm still trying to get the hang of this.

All characters belong to Rick Riordan

I sat down on a rocky cliff by the ocean. The salty air filled my nostrils; the cool breeze whipped my blonde hair. Every thing about here reminded me of him.

I heard the soft crunching of someone approaching. I jerked my head up only to see him. My stormy grey eyes met his sea green ones.

"Hey," He whispered as softly as he could manage. He brushed away a piece soft black hair.

"Hello," I muttered.

"Mind if I join you?" Percy asked. Before waiting for my answer he sat down next to me. He smiled played across his face as he looked up at me. I scowled at him.

We sat in silence before anything happened. I felt a soft hand creep up to mine. Before it could entangle itself with mine I swiftly swatted it away.

Percy positioned himself so he was facing me. I could have easily shoved him to the sea but it wouldn't affect him, being the son of the sea god and all. He stared into my eyes. His were beautiful, welcoming like the sea and mine were misty like the San Francisco fog. Percy had once told me I had pretty eyes but I only laughed. If he told me now I'd kick him in the shins.

Something wasn't quite right though. His eyes used to be so full of excitement and joy but now something different. They looked hurt. Even though my eyes were suppose to have that expression. Instead they took the form of anger.

"I-I'm sorry," He stuttered, "For whatever I did." He paused and stared at me for a while. His hurt expression was replaced with a confused one.

"What did I do?" He asked. I slapped his arm.

"I wouldn't be half as mad as I am now, if you knew what I was mad about," I spat. His confused expression didn't waver for a second.

"Well maybe if you told me what you were mad about all this would be over!" He half-yelled half-laughed. I threw a glare in his direction. Percy was too carefree. He didn't have a serous bone in his body.

"You still don't get it," I mumbled with a hint of hurt in my voice. Anger didn't exactly suit my personality for long periods of time anymore. I usually ended up laughing it off, come out and say what is bothering me or I turn my anger into distress.

"Seriously what's up?" Percy asked, finally loosing his 'stupid face'. I sighed. He wasn't going to give this up until I told him and he certainly wasn't going.

"Fine. I'm mad because you –"

I never got the chance to finish because Percy shoved his lips against mine preventing me from continuing. I tried to shove him away from me but it only resulted in him grabbing my wrists. His lips were soft and moist, as always. This kiss was much more intense than our other sweet soft kisses. He slowly pulled away leaving the taste of his lips lingering on mine. His soft lips formed into a small smirk after we had finally parted.

"You really though I'd forgive you because you kiss me?" I asked him raising an eyebrow. He shrugged.

"Uh, I was hoping it would," He laughed nervously.

"You are such an idiot Seaweed brain," I said then swiftly kissed him on the cheek. "You're not getting away this easy next time"

"I'd hardly call this easy, Wise girl!" He laughed. He continued laughing far too long. I slapped his arm to bring him back into reality.

"So am I forgiven?" I sighed. His mood quickly returned to the happy-idiot that I love.

"Yes, you're forgiven," I replied.

"What do you say we get some ice cream?" He suggested. I gave an exhausted smiled. He returned it with a relieved smile.

"Yeah I'd like that." And with that we walked away from the cliff hand-in-hand ready to share a sundae.
