A/N: This plot-bunny ran rampant in my head so I had to get it out there, if people find this prologue interesting I'd love to hear some feedback so I know whether I should continue it or not.
It started with three golden goddesses, in a time before time existed. Everyone knows the story of how the goddesses descended from the heavens and brought order in the chaos and left the Triforce in the
sacred realm where they fist descended. But almost no one knows that the goddesses had each a twin brother, the night to their day, long imprisoned by the three sisters who, fearful that the brothers would
attempt to gain control, banished them to a dark, twilight realm to wander there until the end of time. In their fit of jealous rage the golden ones prevented the rightful ascension of power to those who were the
elders and thus rightful rulers, however because of their banishment, the brothers swore to each other never to be involved with one of power because of the corruption that power causes. Unlike in the
formation of the Triforce, the brothers did not have a set formation of who represented what, each was powerful, courageous and wise in his own right although they had each an element they could control but
because of this twilight realm they were prevented from using such magic to free themselves as not only were their powers blocked, the sisters would have been aware of the use of magic and they would have
been harshly punished. The brothers while the ignorant might think were named after the sisters really it was the other way around; Din was named after Eldin, Nayru was named after Lanayru who preferred
Lan, and Farore was named after Faron, whom this story focuses on as he played the major role in finally freeing himself and his brothers from their age-old imprisonment.
