When the doctor went home that night he knew he would never come back. Not his fault, he thought. They should have known it was bound to end one day. they should have know it would end like this. But nothing prepared them for it.

A morning before the day it happened was no ordinary day. It wasn't anyone's birthday or anyone's anniversary, and neither was it Christmas. But something in the air wasn't right. They couldn't tell whether it was the lack of excitement just driving them mad or that the doctor hadn't called in days. But they knew one thing for sure, and that was that that day was definitely not ordinary.

"Did you feel it too?" he asked
"Felt what, your clumsy stepping shaking the floor?" she answered
"Shhhhhhh, just listen"

There was a very familiar, very swirly like, repetitive sound coming from the neighbor's back yard. And it was o-so obvious who had finally come to visit.
A scream was heard from inside the Tardis. It wasn't a scream of pain, but of joy. A scream so happy and joyful they couldn't imagine anyone else who could scream that cheerfully like he could.
