A/N- So this is based on the AWESOME theory that a person with a Spirit Animal can eventually have their eyes change to match their Spirit Animals. And...anyone who noticed Conors eyes color shift in the first series to the second from green to blue know it could be true.
Conor didn't notice it.
When his eyes supposedly went from his natural green to a darker shade of blue, he had been trying to rebuilding after the war. Than the Wyrm happen. His eyes were completely blue, identical to Briggans by the time Abeke noticed it not long after she had met back up with them. They had all heard that the rumor of Marked people eyes changing were very true, but none had seen it before.
Rollan and Meilin looked, and clarified it to be true. They found a river, and he saw his new eyes for the first time.
Nothing in him found his new eye color out of the ordinary. It was as if Briggan had always been a part of him, and that he had been born with such an eye color.
Rollan knew as soon as the first fleck of Amber colored his eye.
He glanced into glass and vigilance brought his attention directly to the difference the first day. And he remembered noticing every time the color progressed closer to his black pupil. Slowly taking over his dark brown eyes. Truning the color lighter, to perfectly match Essix's.
No one noticed until at least a third of his eye was changed, and he wondered if he looked that smilar with Amber eyes that it was so hard to notice.
It was a difficult change for a while. But soon, he was happy to look back at himself with Essix's eyes.
Abeke hated it at first, hated that it looked so different.
Her dark, doe brown eyes shifting to the light, almost glowing violet made her look so different. For a while, it made her feel awkward and not herself. Watching her eyes be taken over by the almost unnatural color scared her for a while. It only clamed her slightly when the other three were excited for her.
It wasn't until one day, when they were officially completely violet and Uraza looked at her from behind her mirror that she decided to accept it.
But she got used to it. Learning to like the show of bonding between her and Uraza. Especially after having been torn from her.
Meilin watched the change, taking in every little new change of her eye.
Fleck by fleck, she watched her dark brown eyes taken over by silver. Progressing every time she slept. So many thing had changed for her, life was so different. Somehow, she felt like this change would he the last for a while. When she woke up and no longer saw any trace of her past dark eyes, it didn't surprise her.
Somehow, it felt better to see them in the lighter color, as if she was meant to be born with such colored eyes. More natural than the doe brown that had been there before.
She turned to look at Jhi than, and for the first time she noticed their similarities
