AU Sam's POV
Cheyenne Mountain
Mine and Jack's Room
I am in my room, sitting on my bed silently. It was hard to take in all the information I learned from the alternate reality. I don't even know if that was real or even... a dream. It was probably the last time I'll see him, I thought as I sighed.
Flashback
"It is hard. Goodbye for a second time," I said sadly.
Jack corrected, "It's the first time."
"I doesn't feel that way to me. You have to understand. My Jack had the same face, same voice, same hands," I replied.
"Which brings in mind an obvious question. How could you marry sure a loser?" Jack asked.
I smiled and turned to Daniel and Teal'c.
"Thank you," I told Daniel as he gave me a small smile.
"You're welcome," Daniel replied. Jack tilts his head to show that Teal'c and Daniel should go back through the mirror. Daniel and Teal'c get the message and leave the pair alone.
Jack and I stare at one another and I moves in to kiss him. We kissed. It would be the last time Jack, and any Jack, would kiss my lips, I thought.
After a moment, he released his grasp of me. I just wished the moment would have never ended.
I said sadly, "You're really not him, are you?"
"No," He responded.
"I just wish..." I started to form tears in my eyes.
"Yeah," Jack answered. Jack walked over to the mirror and touched it. He appeared back on the other side of the mirror and the mirror goes dark. I looked away from the mirror with tears running down my cheeks.
As I was thinking of this, tears fell from my eyes. I wish he was here, I thought. I placed my head into my pillow letting the tears fall silently. A sudden knock came from my door. I held back my tears for a second. "Come in!" I sobbed loudly. There was Janet, the petite doctor, who opened the door, and frowned.
"What's the matter?" Janet asked.
I responded, "Nothing Janet, it's okay." She looked at me, and sighed. Janet walked to my bedside, and placed a hand on my back.
"Look, we need to talk about some stuff," Janet said seriously.
"About what?" I wondered. I just wished it was nothing bad, I thought. My life already was bad enough at the moment.
"I'll tell it to you later. Want to get some lunch?"
"Ya sure." She exited the room before I did. I rubbed my eyes, and breathed out heavily, standing there to build confidence in myself. Everything will be already.
I headed out my door, and I noticed Janet watching me. What she wanted to talk to me about must have been very important for her to spend her break with me. Or maybe she knew I needed the company at hard times.
We walked towards the cafeteria together.

Cafeteria
The government just restocked food in the cafeteria with what little they were able to send. Janet and I were sitting at a four-seating table, munching on our sandwiches we got. "What did you want to tell me in my room?" I asked after I finished chewing a bite from my sandwich.
"I said I would tell you later," she said. I looked away from her, and looked down. What is so important?
"How was the AU?" she asked. "Was the colonel there?" I knew exactly who she meant by the colonel. There is only one 'the colonel' out there for me.
I nodded. "But it was sad though. We weren't in any relationship, and I could see the pain in the other Sam's eyes when I told her I was here. I, her; whoever I should call her, is in the military there. She also have short hair. Sadly, Kawalsky died from the Goa'uld." I frowned at the thought of Jack's best friend dead. He really helped Jack even before I knew him.
"He didn't expect you two to be married in this reality right?" Janet asked.
"Right," I confirmed. I didn't think I would have been married to him. He proved me wrong.
After a minute of being in silence, and eating our sandwiches, Janet said, "Did anything happen between you two there?"
I held the sandwich in my hand as if time was frozen. She didn't need to know the details to what happened. "So something did happen there?" she repeated. I cringed. "What was it?"
"Just some hugs," I lied smoothly.
She looked at me funny. "Anything else?"
I sighed as she knew I was going to give in. "A kiss."
"Cheek or lips?" she said excitedly as if she already knew the answer.
"Lips." She jumped from her seat in surprise.
"Wow, really? Any resistance?" This conversation reminded me of my teenage years with my friends.
"Nope," I said as I popped my P.
"Nice. Exactly how many days were you there for?"
"Just two. The alternate reality Daniel, Teal'c, Jack, which you wouldn't know Daniel or Teal'c, but Kawalsky and I came here to saved our world," I explained. "But the Asgard did most of the saving."
"Then before the alternate reality people left, you did that goodbye kiss with Jack because you knew you wouldn't have another opportunity like that."
I smiled. "Possibly." She smiled as she stood out of her seat with her tray.
"Let's go somewhere that we can talk in private. Is there a personal place you want to talk?"
"How 'bout my quarters?"
She shrugged. "Sure. Let's go." I stood up, and threw my garbage in the bin. We placed our tray on top of the garbage bin, and walked to my quarters.

Mine and Jack's quarters
We entered my room quietly. Janet walked to my table as I closed the door behind me. "What did you want to tell me that needed me to be told in private?" I questioned as I walked to my table, and pulled out a chair. This probably isn't going to be good.
She pulled out a chair and stated,"You know how I gave you a check-up since you were at the alternate reality place? Well I noticed something different from most people."
Oh god, I got a disease, my thoughts concluded. "What was that?" I asked.
"You're pregnant," The doctor answered.
I hoped you enjoyed this chapter. Reviews are welcome. Just wait until next time.
