Enoch P.O.V.
It was Sunday during lunch and I was outside at thehandicapentrance of the school's cafeteria with my two friends.
The first was Thomas Adams.Looks wise Thomas was a pale skinned boy with black hair that had a streak of rainbow in it.He wore a black shirt with a black scarf, blackfingerlessgloves, black pants and pair of black sneakers to tie theoffittogether. Then personlity wise he was not the best.He was often the stereotypical goth from shows like South Park as he always carried around a negative demeanor about life and had their habits of smoking and drinking coffee.Though what most people knew him for was his hate for 'love'.He thought of it as fake, just something that ends up hurting the person despite being told to make their life better. That life would be better without it all together.
The second was Luis Robertson.Looks wise he had blond hair, the number ninety-six on his left cheek, and a few ear piercings. He wore a black and red collared shirt, black pants and black converse that tied theoffittogether.Personality wise he was just someone who did not care for anything but his music.
These two werenowboth doing different things;Thomas was smoking with me and Luis was playing his violin.
"You know the dance is coming up?"Thomas asked us.It wasnowthe first week of October meaning theHalloweendance was coming up.
"Yep and like all years peopleare going to betrying to get dates that end up leaving them by the end of the dance."I said to them knowing least ahandfulof students leave in heartbreak.
"Or end in one night stands."Luis said indisgustas he stopped playing his violin.
"Or with babymammasor daddies."I said referring to how last year after the dance celebrations lead to some people ending up pregnant.
"Deaths."Luis said referring to how once a kid or two died ofalcoholpoisonat the dance.
"How it ends does not matter, but what matters is this mean senior year is almost over."Thomas said to us.He was right it was halfway through first semester andusuallysecond semester goes fast so in a way the year is close to being over.
"This isusuallywhen people also start to change."Luis said.He was right seniors seemed to change their ways at this school ether for the best or worst.
"Well we won't change will we?"Thomas asked.I was not sure if it was my imagination or not but he sounded like if he was actually scared of us changing.
"Of course not we will alwaysstaythe same. Our group will still be our very own escape from reality and ourprincipalswe never leave us."I resurred him hoping that he still feared nothing, change included.
"You are right we will never change."Thomas said sounding moreassured.
"After all this will just be another year for us."Luis said,we all agreed with him not knowing how wrong he was going to be soon enough.
