The Great Wife of the Pharaoh. What a glorious title. Not. Truth be told, the lioness detested her "husband," even the word "husband" in her mouth in relation to that bastard left a foul taste. Her trust in him was like a dog with a broken leg, tendons too torn to believe a single, empty, soulless promise that came out of his mouth. As such, she figured it was about that time again. Out with the old, in with the new, if you catch my drift. So when the new boy, Aharon came around (or was she just not noticing him before..), she was all over him.
They became close friends, very quickly, sharing many interests such as faith, religion, and loyalty to their people. But soon, life took a turn for the worst as the skies darkened and the prey was driven away. Now the young lion Aharon spoke of visions and dreams he had during their daily conversations. He spoke of a God named Seth who manifested in a canid-like beast's vessel to inhabit this Earth. He said Seth was the key to defeating this Great Evil that had awoken.
"Will you help me, my queen?" Asked the young lion.
"Yes," Anat responded. She knew she could not go back. She knew helping him would somehow benefit her, and if not that, it would benefit their people. Now, they just had to get the approval of the Pharaoh before putting their plan in action.
"My dear husband, Dreath, you must listen to me. This Seth, he is a god! He cansave our people! We're-" Her husband whipped around and snarled in her face, silencing her.
"Shut it, woman. I refuse to accept a filthy mongrel as my god, I'd rather starve. I thought I told you to keep your stupid ideas to yourself. Now get out!" Dreath commanded harshly, yellowing teeth bared.
And that night, Anat and Aharon met Seth in secrecy. To make the old god prove his power, she had him come to the pride and cast a dust storm around the old king Dreath. Aharon merged his vessel and the vessel of Seth, and with their powers combined, they defeated the Great Evil.
After the dust settled, the pride rejoiced, crowning Aharon as their new Pharaoh. Bet you can't guess who took the title as the Great Wife.
