"Hey," Maureen said, turning to face everyone, "I was thinking of having another protest at the lot." Everyone was headed to the Life Café, with the drama queen in the lead. No one remarked, and she became restless.

"What do you think?" she continued, "Mark, you could film it?"

Mark rolled his eyes. "Alright, Maureen," he sighed, "whatever." He was annoyed that all she thought of was herself getting famous through the video footage that he sold.

"When?" Mimi chirped, patting Mark's shoulder.

"Um," Maureen thought, glancing at Joanne, who shrugged, "how about the weekend of the 8th?"

"Sounds fine by me," Roger commented.

"No deal," Collins announced from the back of the group. Angel turned to him, slightly confused.

"Why not, baby?" she asked, her brown furrowed.

"Because," he told her with a coy smile, "we have plans."

She playfully hit his chest. "Thomas Collins, what do you have up your sleeve?"

"A weekend away," he whispered into her ear, "Just the two of us in a cozy little inn in a little town in Connecticut."

Angel's jaw dropped. She smiled and laced her fingers in his. "Sounds perfect," she said through a grin.
