Bright sunshine shone down, filtering though the thick summer leaves. A nice, warm breeze filled the forest. Two young teens sat back to back, enjoying the new warmth that was the summer air. After a long winter, it was something to truly enjoy. The girl with straight red hair that went past the small of her back rested her head on the back of the boy's shoulder, her eyes closed. The boy had hair like sunshine that stuck up in every direction, except for two long side bangs that went past his jaw line. His azure eyes glanced toward the girl. "Kushina?" The boy asked, a small smile on his face. The girl simply responds with small 'hm' .
Seeing he had her attention, he looked up at the branches that formed a soothing canopy overhead. "I want you forever, forever and always. Though the good and the bad and the ugly. We'll grow old together, forever and always."
The girl smiled back and replied, "Forever and always, though the good and the bad and the ugly. We'll grow old together and always remember. Whether rich, or poor, or for the better. We'll still love each other, forever and always..."
Blood seeped out of the corner of the man's mouth, and he looked over at his wife. His chest throbbed in anger at the pain, breathing became hard. Their lives were fading, he knew he had a small amount of time to say this. So he continued something he started long ago.
"Kushina, I want you forever, forever and always. Though the good and the bad and the ugly. We'll grow old together, and always remember. Whether happy, sad or whatever, we'll still love each other, forever and always." His grimace of pain melted into a smile.
Kushina smiled back though her pain, and together the two turned towards their new born child and said; "We'll love you forever, forever and always. Please just remember, even if we are not here, we'll always love you. Forever and always..."
