I have once known a queen. She was more than a pretty face, you know, and held the respect of all her people. Her calm demeanor and strong loyalty for her country was stronger than anything I ever knew. It made everything else seem smaller in comparison. For the love she held for her country was bigger than anything any of us could ever imagine.

I have once known a woman. She was more than what her family gave credit for. Others looked upon her, and thought her strange. The way her spine straightened over night, the gleam in her sapphire eyes, and the way her curls were pinned up on her head. All she had left was her physical image, and memories of a world she didn't quite believe ever even existed.

I have once known a girl. She was more than a purse of makeup, you know. She used to be a woman, who didn't care what anybody said about her. She used to be the strongest person I knew, with the highest self esteem in the world. But it all changed. I don't know how, or when. She woke up one day, looked in the mirror, and didn't see herself anymore. She saw a lost creature who didn't exactly know what to do.

Her love for her country outlasted her life and her crown. After twenty years, she didn't really understand what to make of her situation. Who was she? A queen or a child? After twenty years, she packed up everything she suspected was just a dream into the very dusty depths of her heart. When she gazed upon the news of the coronation of the queen, something struck her deep, something which she couldn't exactly explain. When she witnessed wars being fought and won, she felt an overwhelming sense of pride and nostalgia, as if those soldiers were more than just names in the news, but comrades, people she once knew. When she laid her siblings down to rest in the dirt, she glanced at their young faces and felt she was looking down at strangers.

It's only a week, and she's gone too. The last things she saw were the stars shining down on her, as if they were crying for the loss. Or perhaps they were laughing, for their queen, the queen of the Southern Sun, finally joined them in her proper position on the throne.

She was the last to fill the four thrones. She completed the endless years of war, rage, and pain, and began the era that would last forever, until the ends of time, until even the universe grows too heavy with celebration that it melts away in laughter.

When Adam's flesh and Adam's bone sits at Cair Paravel in throne, the evil time will be over and done.

Author's Note: Just a little babble I decided to write. Susan's end in The Last Battle really frustrates me - as I'm sure it frustrates ALL readers - so I'm always thinking about how Susan's story continued. So, this was just a little one shot on Susan, and if she ever did make her way into Aslan's Country, since I'm sure she eventually she did.

By the way, when I was writing this, I realized a bit if the Golden Age prophecy meant anything more. I mean, if Susan did meet up with her siblings, she would be the last to fill the thrones, and therefore, she would have completed the prophecy, thus ending the evil time. So, perhaps, the Golden Age prophecy extends farther than The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe.

Hope all of you enjoyed it, and for the SOM readers, I'm still trying to figure out how to appropriately end the story. Keep checking back for further updates :) Remember to review!
