BREAKFAST IN BED

Megan toddled into the kitchen she got a bowl out of the cupboard and poured some cereals in the rest went over the floor then she poured milk in and over the chair. She put the bowl on a tray she climbed on to a chair then on to the counter she put bread in to the toaster and pushed the button down three minutes later the toast popped Megan squealed she got down and put the toast on a plate then she went to the fridge and got some bacon out and put that on the plate next to the toast. She got an egg but dropped it on the floor "uh-oh" she said and went and got another one she got a glass of apple juice and put them all on the tray with the cereals then pushed the tray towards the bedroom.

Don was fast asleep he had worked three days straight and had finished around seven the night before he had pick Megan up from his gran's then headed home he had been so tired he had gone straight to bed when he got in. Megan pushed the tray into the bedroom then she climbed on the bed "dada dada" she smiled patting Don's head. Don opened his eyes and yawned "hello monkey your awake very early" he grinned giving her a kiss "dada beki" Megan giggled "you hungry imp" Don asked Megan looked over the side of the bed "what you looking at imp" Don puzzled "beki" she answered. Don looked over the side of the bed "oh what's this" Don puzzled lifting up the tray. "dada's beki" Megan beamed excitedly "have you made me breakfast" Don asked Megan nodded picking up the spoon and putting it in Don's mouth "mmm...nice thank you" Don said swallowing the mushy cereal Megan went to give him another spoonful "thanks baby daddy can do it" Don smiled taking the spoon he ate the cereal grimacing a little he really hated mushy cereals he then ate the toast and drank the apple juice while Megan watched delighted "dada egg" Megan said pointing to the egg "oh imp daddy's full now" he answered patting his stomach Megan also patted his stomach "all on" she beamed Don laughed "yeah imp all gone" he answered cuddling her "shall we go get Megan some breakfast" Don asked Megan nodded Don moved the tray then put Megan on the floor and got out of bed.

Don carried the tray into the main part of the apartment and groaned. "oh jeez Megan" he moaned as he saw the mess in the kitchen "dada ceals ease" Megan smiled as she sat at the table. "yeah ok imp" Don sighed as he put the bacon and egg away. He got the cereal box and tipped what was left in to a bowl the was just enough for Megan's breakfast he poured in some milk grabbed a spoon. "here you go imp" he said putting the bowl on the table "ta dada" Megan answered starting to eat "good girl imp" Don praised he looked back at the kitchen and sighed he went over and started to clean the mess "uh-oh dada essy" Megan said watching him "yeah imp big mess" Don answered cleaning the egg off the floor "dada beki" she said giving him big eyes "yeah thanks imp it was lovely" Don said getting up he put the cloth in the bin and looked at the time it was quarter to seven he groaned then smiled life with a toddler was never dull.
