If it wasn't for the fact that today was his birthday. I never would have made a fool of myself; especially in front everyone. I didn't know at the time how this really would affect our relationship, or even more like the way we thought of each other. I feel exhausted thinking about it, is it really this provoking? As a girl with every intention of wanting to fix every thing I am just too stubborn. I know and it makes it just more painful to face the fact. I actually had given Jimmy Neutron a present. Not just any present more like a, let's just say. A BIG present.
A couple days before Jimmy's birthday it was a Saturday afternoon and Lib's and I were doing our nails and reading the new issue of Boyz magazine in my room.
"Oh my, look at that hunk of a man," I looked over Libby's shoulder.
"Mhm."
"If Sheen just worked out a bit, oh…"
I didn't understand how Libby could love that geek, they've been dating for four years, at first going on and off but I could tell they just went lovey dovey over each other; sometimes I just want to go barf somewhere. The sad thing is I'm single. Nick was just being a jerk, and I caught him cheating on me, I didn't even like him any way's.
"Sheen I think gets more exercise then any body builder."
Libby turned to look at me, "and Jimmy he looks good too, with only an undershirt on."
My face went beet red, "just because he looks good doesn't mean I like him or anything, Nick looks good too." I tried changing the subject of attention. It failed.
"I didn't say you liked him." Libby got up from her laying down position and stared at me with a like smirk on her face.
"I-I-I m-mean, I don't." Her smirk got bigger. "I don't like Jimmy Neutron."
"Admit Cindy, I already know every one else knows, for all I know the entire galactic galaxy knows."
"I won't, but just a little; he's just a big-big stupid head." I was acting childish I know but that was the only thing I had to hang onto.
"Cindy you know he grew out of his big head."
"Okay I told just a little," Libby gave the 'Cindy' look. "A lot, I like him a lot. Okay fine I admit it again. I liked and still like Jimmy Neutron."
Libby nodded in satisfaction. "Now it's his birthday on Tuesday."
Libby was just too good sometimes. She knew this ahead of time, sometimes I wonder how my best friend know so much about me and knew the expected always a few steps ahead of me.
"I'm planning his surprise birthday party with Sheen and Carl and I'm going to need your help since Sheen is to hyper active and Carl just can't keep secrets." Something fishy, I mean fishy was going on. "And I need you to get Jimmy distracted enough not to know that he's having a surprise birthday party."
"I distract Jimmy, but I can't do that, how!" I started to panic as I got off my queen sized bed and started panicking. Stupid, yes but just thinking of it turned my stomach, now I actually do feel sick.
"This is how you do it, I got it all planned."
