(A/N) Okay, you know the part where Pym starts saying to the Hulk that he's weak and whatnot in the movie so he'll get up and fight Ultron again? You know how James was being pushed back from Ultron's ray thingie? Well, what would happen if the Hulk was a bit slower and didn't save James in time?

James grunted as his shield was pressed against him. Ultron steadily approached him with his ray still activated. Ultron reached James and knocked away his shield. James screamed as he felt Ultron's ray first hand.
Ultron pressed on. James felt like he'd been dunked in lava. There was a roaring sound and he felt the ray lifted off him. He collapsed and heard cries of "James!" He heard a buzzing sound and he slowly opened his eyes. "James, I'm so sorry!" It was Pym.
"It wasn't your fault Pym," James said weakly, but Pym ignored him.
"I should've been faster! I should've helped you get away."
"Pym!" James said forcefully. Pym shut up. "It wasn't your fault. I should've been able to withstand it longer. Anyway, we all know what's going to happen now."
"James…"
James closed his eyes and listened as the Hulk defeated Ultron. As they stopped the Hulk from fighting them. As Torunn flew back with new armor. The entire time he heard the buzzing of Pym's wings. Then he couldn't hear anymore. He tried to, but it faded away. His last thought was, Survive, you guys. Survive and live life to its fullest.

Torunn smiled. She was… words couldn't even describe what she was feeling. She felt incredibly happy. She had been to Asguard and met her father. Then she noticed something. "Where be Pym and James?" The others looked at each other. To be honest they hadn't see them either.
Torunn looked around. She saw James lying down and Pym next to him. She walked over to him. "Pym, what's wrong?" He was crying. When she asked that he grew to regular size.
"Y-you know how James got hit by Ultron's ray without his shield?" They nodded. "Well, it was too much for him."
Azari's eyes widened, "You mean?"
"Yes. He's dead." Then Pym burst into tears again. Tony ran over, hearing the conversation. He checked James' pulse. He looked up sadly and shook his head. Torunn had tears streaming down silently as did Azari and even Hawkeye's eyes were clouding over.
"He said something," Pym whispered. "He said, 'Survive, you guys. Survive and live life to its fullest.'"
"We will!" Torunn announced. "We mustn't dwell in the past. We must live life to its fullest as James' had wanted." The others nodded. In the wind they could hear a voice. James' voice.
"Avengers! Assemble!"
