"Every girl deserves a guy who looks at her everyday like it's the first time he saw her."

She smiled at the thought, remembering how she once discussed the matter over tea with her pompous peers during her youth. They fan themselves away, barely even acknowledging her remark as they go on about their current status in life. Mito felt lost as they chatter about their betrothal to lords and such. In truth, it was something she was set to do as well and it was no trivial matter. But she was also taught to choose for herself. Thus, even as a kunoichi, as long as she is not completely robbed of her will to choose, Mito did her responsibilities firmly and responsibly.

It was such a beautiful day. The breeze was cool as it blew by the balcony by where she sat reading her book. Her former thought lingered in her mind for a bit as she recalled another event that best describes it.

One morning, Mito awoke to the smell of someone cooking pancakes. It was the third time they had pancakes for breakfast this week as they had made way too much batter before. She sat up, allowing the sweet scent to fill her nostrils. Mito made her way to the kitchen where she found her husband making their breakfast. As he was setting the table, Hashirama saw her standing by the doorway and froze at the sight of her. Her hair was a beautiful mess cascading over her shoulders and the loose nightshirt she wore gently falls on her curves; highlighting them with every move she makes. When Mito noticed he wasn't moving, she asked him if he was alright.

He blinked at the sound of her voice and beamed. "You know, sometimes I think about asking you out again. But then I would come to my senses and remember that you're already married to me."

Mito set her book down, smiling to herself. She was too distracted to read.
