It has been 2 years since Horizon and everything was going great for Scott and Shelby.
They had kids, Josh and Jade, who are both 2. They were born just before Scott and Shelby left Horizon. Scott has fulfilled his dream and is a Wide receiver for the Denver Bronco's and so Scott and Shelby could travel together Shelby went to school to become Scott's agent. They were married about a year after they left Horizon and moved to the outskirts of Denver to raise their two children.
Scott and Shelby sat at the docks behind their house. It was one thing about Horizon they would never forget, as soon as they bought their house they had docks made just for the purpose of sneaking off once the kids were asleep.
"I miss doing this" Scott said quietly. Shelby didn't reply, instead she just snuggled closer to Scott, not wanting to ruin the moment. Scott closed his eyes, and tightened his grip on Shelby.
*THE GAME*
Shelby was jumping up and down cheering for wildly for Scott as he made yet another touch down. She was so proud of him, he had come so far since horizon and had become such a wonderful father for his kids, which he spoiled rotten.
Shelby leaned over to Martin and said,"I'm going to go get something to drink and go to the bathroom, do you want anything?"
"Sure, a cup of Coffee" Martin said with a smile. Shelby nodded and walked off, as Martin turned back to the game.
After a few minutes the kids wanted to know where their Mommy was. "Pop-Pop where's my Mommy" Jade asked. "She'll be right back Sweetie, don't worry"Martin said, he could hear a lot of yelling so he knew he was missing something, but is granddaughter needed him right then, he would just ask the guy next to him what happened in a minute.
After a few minutes the men who were standing in a big clump around something on the field were ushered back to their seating area, but Martin still couldn't make out who was motionlessly laying on the field.
When the coach of the Bronco's finally figured out who was the one on the field he ran out onto the field Screaming "BARRINGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Martin's heart froze "Dear God No" he thought to himself
