Dean was disappointed but not for the first time

Dean shook his head slightly. He couldn't really believe Sam had quit hunting. He'd quit hunting monsters, quit saving people, quit the 'family business'. He had let Dean rot in purgatory. He hadn't questioned Crowley's word or searched for Kevin. Without his guidance, Sam had become a total disappointment.
On the other side of the car Sam relaxed a little, it was okay, things were getting back to 'Winchester normal', back to hunting. Dean was back and now Sam didn't need to grieve, worry, or even really think. He could go back to being on autopilot or rather brother pilot.
