What is something forbidden that you want to indulge in?
Forbidden. Her mother had drilled it into her a thousand times that what she was doing was absolutely off limits. But what else could she do? If there was another way, another course, she would have taken it. In fact she'd tried, over and over again, to find a different way to do it. As it was, this was her only choice. Her only hope of ever getting Dee back. And if there was one thing she would never stop trying to do, it would be bringing her sister back.
By the time she finished closing her fingers into a fist, by the time the thick, churning smoke had rushed to the floor and faded, by the time the body hit the floor- she was past the thought. Forbidden. What did she care about breaking the rules if it got her what she wanted, what she needed. The answer? She didn't. Nothing was forbidden.
