"Whachaya doing, Granger" asked Malfoy with a hint of mockery, and his 'famous' smirk.

Just keep reading Hermione and the self-absorbed jerk will go away. Hopefully.

"OI, Granger"

Just ignore him and he'll ….OUCH…

"What the hell Malfoy!"

"Sometimes throwing books at girls gets a guy their undivided attention"

"OK. You have my 'undivided attention' what do you want"

"Umm.. Forgot."

I gave him a death stare and the smirk already on his face got larger.

"Bloody bastard" He pretended to look hurt and clutch his chest.

"What did you say?"

I give him my best smile and put on my innocent face "What, I didn't say a thing" and with that I left dear Malfoy in the deserted library.

…THAT NIGHT…

It has been 4 months since the Great War ended. Everyone got back to their usual routine like nothing ever happened. Well, they talk about it, but only how Harry, Ron and I are heroes. However other than that everyone, is over basically over all the sadness and grieve except Harry, the Weasley family and I. No one knows what we went through at all. Ginny sort of knows what it's like from my point of view because I told her (wait...NO… That's not correct) she forced (locked me up in the twin's room. Worse than experience ever) me to tell her, and I'm glad I did. It has been 2 weeks since Hogwarts opened and it feels like I don't know the place anymore. It's going to be a long year especially with Malfoy and I are head boy and girl. No matter what Professor McGonagall says or does we just don't get see eye to eye.

"Hey Hermione, where are you heading" I force a smile and told Ginny that I was heading to the head dormitory to study and that I'll see her at dinner. Before she could object I left and yelled a quick see ya.

…DRACO…

She doesn't get it. I've tried to be nice but she thinks I'm playing her. Granger just does not realize how much she has changed, how much attention she gets from all the boys even from Syltherin. She seems distant and troubled like I used to be...
