Two sides, Darkness and Light.
Both forced into war.
No escape.
No hope.
Shadows lurk every where.
Even the brightest light creates a shadow.
No one is completely good, and no one is completely evil.
The poem raced inside Belinda's mind. Each time it repeated, her light blue scales glowed with excitement. One day, she might have her own adventure. Suddenly, a stone hit the back of her head, and Belinda turned to see a Dark green dragon followed by a light gray dragon, and a reddish she-dragon.
"Okay, Ryuu, Pachua, Tanith, what do you guys want this time?" Belinda sighed. Everyday they came to ask for a favor. Ryuu stepped forward, his green scales shining with his ideas.
"Oh, nothing. We just want to hang out..." Tanith nodded her head violently, while Pachua rolled his eyes. Belinda stared at Ryuu with a glare, and the "leader" of the group sighed.
"Fine. We want to go into the Temple Ruins,"
"What?! What makes you think that I can get you guys in there?!"
"Well, I don't know, maybe the fact that you're the purple dragon's daughter!" Ryuu grinned. He had a point. Belinda never got in trouble because of her heroic father. But she was sure that she couldn't even get into the ruins.
"Well?" Ryuu demanded, stepping closer to the blue she-dragon.
"No! I'm not taking you guys in there!" Belinda shouted, making Tanith jump.
"Fine! Then we'll go without you!" Ryuu shouted back.
"Fine! See if I care!" Belinda snorted, turning around.
"Come on guys! Lets go see the ruins! Maybe Ignitus's magic future thing still works," Ryuu called, and the three dragons turned to the old path that lead to the ruins. Guilt started to rise in Belinda's throat. What if they got hurt? She'd never forgive herself!
"Guys wait up!" Belinda called out, racing towards the group. Man, her parents were going to kill her if they found out where they were going!
A/N: Okay! I know this chapter is short, but what do you think? And I won't reveal who Belinda's mother is until the final chapter! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! (Cough) well, um, R&R! :-D
