The land of Oz was peaceful the day after Dorthey left. But not as peaceful as Glinda had hoped. Being leader of Oz now, she had responsibility, leadership and lots of people to talk to! Glinda could have talked to people 24 hours, which she didn't do thankfully.
She also had to deal with The Tin Man still having a liking to her, The scarecrow, telling her to find a certain person, and the Lion, who was ALWAYS hungry. Glinda liked being high in power, don't get her wrong, but, they all wanted the same things every day. She was so fed up with all of literally passed out that night on her bed. In the Emerald City, Everything was like 10 times bigger than in the Uplands. Glinda liked that. She loved her big bed as well. It was pink on one side and green on the other. She took a big liking to those two specific colors. They reminded her of her best friend in the world, who, was also an enemy.
